Fantastic spot! It was really nice to find a spot away from overcrowded camp grounds. This spot is perfect if you’re looking for a place where it’s just you/your group and nature! The grounds were clean and well maintained and having the dam close by was awesome for the kids and dogs. Being dog friendly and off leash meant our pooches could have a nice holiday too! The onsite toilet, fire pit and table/benches made things easy. Hosts Sarah and Tom were great to deal with, communication was easy and we all had a blast. Would recommend to anyone camping withe family/friends especially those who want to bring their dogs. We will be back!

We loved our stay. The site is terrific – very large and very private- we specifically chose it because we knew we were going to be the only campers there.. We felt like we were in the middle of the bush far away from everything. It was a real bonus to be able to have our dog with us. Tom and Sarah are excellent hosts – friendly, helpful, very hospitable. We will definitely be back again.

Lovely campsite!! We were lucky to have it on our own and were able to camp on the grassier side. Definitely recommend ordering the trailer load of wood! Totally worth the money. Was nice too that the tide kept coming in & out so we were able to actually swim in the river. The host made us feel so welcomed and gave us total privacy too. We can’t wait to come back, the dogs loved it too!

We loved camping at Glennbrooke River Camp. The campsite was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with plenty of privacy between sites. We had a great few nights at Glennbrooke river camp. The property is huge and camping beside the tidal river was great for the kids to do some fishing. Not far out of town and lovely to get the peace and quiet. Sitting around the fire at night was lovely. Would HIGHLY recommend. We will be back.

You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water. The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region. Please be mindful this is a camping and caravaning experience, there is for your convenience a flushing toilet (bring own toilet paper). This site has its own concrete boat ramp making a heaven for all fisho's and skiers. The ramp is totally safe to launch any watercraft.
