T.J Wilson We have 3 remote sites and 3 dispersed sites and the property is six kilometers from Dalgety township which is situated on the “Snowy River” NSW. We are located 30 minutes drive south east of Jindabyne and 40 minutes drive south west of Cooma. There is a flush toilet and fresh drinking water is available at our dispersed sites. Caravans can easily be filled up via garden hose and if you are staying on one of the remote sites this can be done easily prior to settling in. We have a mowed loop track giving easy access from each site to stroll to the top of the hill, walk the dog or enjoy the 360 degree views. Take a picnic in the evening or just a glass of wine and watch the sunset from the top of the hill. After dark, relax and toast some marshmallows over the fire pit and discuss what you are going to do the next day. The land was originally once a part of "Marranumbla Homestead". I have called it home since 1995 and now share it with my partner Phillip, our son, Danish the Whippet, Murphy the Malshi, Myonie the Moodle and Finley the cat. The house yard only had 2 trees when I bought it and the house built originally in 1980 still needed completing on the inside. I have worked hard to create an extensive garden in a sometimes harsh environment. It's our peaceful part of the "Snowy Monaro", the property being 155 acres in total. A great place to wander and breath in the fresh air. In Dalgety township you can have a meal and catch up with a local at the "Buckley's Crossing Hotel" or take a walk around the show ground, town and along the river reserve where you can have a swim and relax on the riverbank and view the historic Dalgety Bridge circa 1888 across the Snowy River. Then come back in the evening to look for platypus when they come out to play. Visit the local 'Snowy Vineyard and Microbrewery' incorporating the 'Dalgety Brewing Company' situated approximately 10km north of the town on the Snowy River or have lunch at 'Tuscany in Dalgety' 2km to the west of town. Take a trip to Jindabyne which is half an hours drive to the west, walk round the lake, visit the 'Jindabyne Brewery', great food, beer, cider and wine or the many other restaurants and cafes in town. Spend some time at the 'Snowy Region Visitor Centre' and the 'Gaden Trout Hatchery' or catch your own trout in the lake or at the 'Eucumbene Trout Farm'. Travel beyond into the mountains and Kosciusko National Park to Thredbo, Perisher Valley and Charlottes Pass. Explore the many walks in the national park including the walk to the top of Mt Kosciusko. Visit the 'Wild Brumby Distillery' enjoy some European fare and locally crafted Schnapps, Gin, Vodka or Gluhwein. Take a day trip through Adaminaby to 'Yarrangobilly Caves and Thermal Pool' in the northern end of Kosciusko National Park, picnic, swim and tour the caves. Visit the "Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre and Café in Cooma and learn the history of the scheme. The Centre houses a comprehensive exhibition hall including an extensive photographic collection, models, hands-on exhibits and a one of a kind immersive theatre. You will find information about the Scheme such as engineering, the environment, the National Electricity Market, history, water management and power generation. Make it your base camp while enjoying all that the winter season has to offer and lets not forget the skiing and snow boarding of course. Well that's just a sample of some of the things you can do but if all that sounds like too much, just put your feet up and have a rest at your campsite!! P.S. The annual Dalgety Show is held on the first Sunday in March every year and did you know that Dalgety was one of the sites considered for our country's capital. Each are far from each other, both are right near to - or very close to - the river. Our guests love the tranquility and not having to share! Fish the river for flathead or bream and enjoy it for dinner by the campfire. Bring your kayak or SUP or just enjoy a swim in the clear sandy-bottom river. Once your booking request has been confirmed, let us know if you need more specific directions so you can find us easily. Well behaved (spoilt) dogs okay but please no hunting type dogs. We are using technology to create energy and resource efficient accommodation. Our 2 bedroom spacious cottages are spread out on our 30ac Snow Gum Parklands. Each cottage is private with plenty of area to expand and relax. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hotplates and micro wave. There is a bath room with shower and toilet with another separate toilet and drying room. We are only 2klm to the centre of town but it may as well be 100klm away as there is many native animals and flora and no neighbours. We are located next to Jindabyne Airstrip. There are very few flights in and out of the airstrip which is a real novelty if you see an aircraft. Our unique cottages are powered by solar power with no grid connect and use rain water that falls on site. All our linen is washed in spring water by on site solar power and dried by wind and sunlight which is a huge saving to the environment. Our cottages are constructed using local granite so they can blend into the environment. The new cottages are built to be insulated from the Winter cold and the Summer heat. Double glazed and double insulated cottages which are orientated to make the use of the Sun where the hot summer Sun does not enter the cottages and in Winter the Sun flows in to keep the cottages warm. In Winter with the use of a wood fired heater the cottages stay toasty warm and if not regulated properly can get quiet hot. Our Snow Gum woodland environment supports native birds and animals which come and go as they please.

Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley on the NSW Far South Coast. Roa is a family owned working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park, giving it a sense of remote seculsion whilst being only a 15 minute drive from the township of Cobargo. Misty Mountain Wildlife Refuge is a 330 acre farm which provides sanctuary to kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas and many bird species including their habitats. There are Alpacas and Sheep, Kangaroos, Wombats, Kookaburras, Echidnas and many other animals that enjoy this property. The land has 80 acres of cleared grassland this side of the river, and for the adventurous and energetic you can rome the other 250 acres by crossing to the other side of the rive, there are large stands of rainforest and bushland, with 2.5 km of Brown Mountain Creek and its tributary meandering through it. There are some swimming holes and mini rapids; the crystal clear water flowing over the river rocks can be heard from most parts of the farm. The land comprises Little Brown Mountain and has 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and farmland with wonderful cloud formations and mists contributing their mystery and beauty to the dramatic landscape. There is an orchard with trees producing several varieties of apple, stone fruit and citrus in abundance. A cottage garden produces various vegetables and herbs such as spinach, celery, potatoes, garlic, chives, lettuce, rocket, parsley, turmeric, peas, beans, tomato etc. Past bushfire damage to some trees in the cleared paddocks is evident however, many are recovering well and most provide photographers with interesting and dramatic subject matter. Due to the catastrophic events of the NSW bush fires in this area all camp fires must be kept responsibly safe and no unsafe camp fires will be tolerated. All Guests are required to have an acceptable camp toilet, no holes in the ground. All river access points are shared, be mindful of others. As dogs are welcome and even well behaved dogs will be dogs when it comes to their family, all guests are advised to make themselves known prior to going near another's camp site, then there is no surprises either way. T.J Wilson We have 3 remote sites and 3 dispersed sites and the property is six kilometers from Dalgety township which is situated on the “Snowy River” NSW. We are located 30 minutes drive south east of Jindabyne and 40 minutes drive south west of Cooma. There is a flush toilet and fresh drinking water is available at our dispersed sites. Caravans can easily be filled up via garden hose and if you are staying on one of the remote sites this can be done easily prior to settling in. We have a mowed loop track giving easy access from each site to stroll to the top of the hill, walk the dog or enjoy the 360 degree views. Take a picnic in the evening or just a glass of wine and watch the sunset from the top of the hill. After dark, relax and toast some marshmallows over the fire pit and discuss what you are going to do the next day. The land was originally once a part of "Marranumbla Homestead". I have called it home since 1995 and now share it with my partner Phillip, our son, Danish the Whippet, Murphy the Malshi, Myonie the Moodle and Finley the cat. The house yard only had 2 trees when I bought it and the house built originally in 1980 still needed completing on the inside. I have worked hard to create an extensive garden in a sometimes harsh environment. It's our peaceful part of the "Snowy Monaro", the property being 155 acres in total. A great place to wander and breath in the fresh air. In Dalgety township you can have a meal and catch up with a local at the "Buckley's Crossing Hotel" or take a walk around the show ground, town and along the river reserve where you can have a swim and relax on the riverbank and view the historic Dalgety Bridge circa 1888 across the Snowy River. Then come back in the evening to look for platypus when they come out to play. Visit the local 'Snowy Vineyard and Microbrewery' incorporating the 'Dalgety Brewing Company' situated approximately 10km north of the town on the Snowy River or have lunch at 'Tuscany in Dalgety' 2km to the west of town. Take a trip to Jindabyne which is half an hours drive to the west, walk round the lake, visit the 'Jindabyne Brewery', great food, beer, cider and wine or the many other restaurants and cafes in town. Spend some time at the 'Snowy Region Visitor Centre' and the 'Gaden Trout Hatchery' or catch your own trout in the lake or at the 'Eucumbene Trout Farm'. Travel beyond into the mountains and Kosciusko National Park to Thredbo, Perisher Valley and Charlottes Pass. Explore the many walks in the national park including the walk to the top of Mt Kosciusko. Visit the 'Wild Brumby Distillery' enjoy some European fare and locally crafted Schnapps, Gin, Vodka or Gluhwein. Take a day trip through Adaminaby to 'Yarrangobilly Caves and Thermal Pool' in the northern end of Kosciusko National Park, picnic, swim and tour the caves. Visit the "Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre and Café in Cooma and learn the history of the scheme. The Centre houses a comprehensive exhibition hall including an extensive photographic collection, models, hands-on exhibits and a one of a kind immersive theatre. You will find information about the Scheme such as engineering, the environment, the National Electricity Market, history, water management and power generation. Make it your base camp while enjoying all that the winter season has to offer and lets not forget the skiing and snow boarding of course. Well that's just a sample of some of the things you can do but if all that sounds like too much, just put your feet up and have a rest at your campsite!! P.S. The annual Dalgety Show is held on the first Sunday in March every year and did you know that Dalgety was one of the sites considered for our country's capital. We are using technology to create energy and resource efficient accommodation. Our 2 bedroom spacious cottages are spread out on our 30ac Snow Gum Parklands. Each cottage is private with plenty of area to expand and relax. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hotplates and micro wave. There is a bath room with shower and toilet with another separate toilet and drying room. We are only 2klm to the centre of town but it may as well be 100klm away as there is many native animals and flora and no neighbours. We are located next to Jindabyne Airstrip. There are very few flights in and out of the airstrip which is a real novelty if you see an aircraft. Our unique cottages are powered by solar power with no grid connect and use rain water that falls on site. All our linen is washed in spring water by on site solar power and dried by wind and sunlight which is a huge saving to the environment. Our cottages are constructed using local granite so they can blend into the environment. The new cottages are built to be insulated from the Winter cold and the Summer heat. Double glazed and double insulated cottages which are orientated to make the use of the Sun where the hot summer Sun does not enter the cottages and in Winter the Sun flows in to keep the cottages warm. In Winter with the use of a wood fired heater the cottages stay toasty warm and if not regulated properly can get quiet hot. Our Snow Gum woodland environment supports native birds and animals which come and go as they please.

Our peaceful property is perfectly located 14km out of Jindabyne, approximately 5km to Lake Jindabyne and only a short trip to the ski resorts (30 kms to Thredbo and 46kms to Perisher.) At 1050m elevation, we can get quite heavy snowfalls on occasion in winter, and our close proximity to the ski fields is perfect for your ski/board holiday. We are also close to local mountain bike tracks and Thredbo for some downhill riding, some of the best trout fishing in Australia and Lake Jindabyne for water sports in the warmer months. Fairleys is a 300 acre farm, located at the end of the road- ensuring serenity and space. Stunning sunrises, sunsets and unique flora and fauna are common to all sites. We have a vast array of wildlife frequenting our land, as well as an ever changing collection of farm animals. Meeting and learning about our animals can be arranged while you stay with us. We offer dog friendly options (2 dog max) and pet minding services (on application) so you can take the opportunity to explore Kosciuszko National Park or hit the ski fields. Dogs must be on a lead at all times however we offer our site “The Yards” which is a fully enclosed 2 acre unpowered site. Pet minding by a qualified vet nurse is available on most days (prior arrangement essential- in own van). Presently, we have two sites “The Yards”which is unpowered, enclosed and pet friendly and “The Gums”, a large secluded bush site. Alternately you can choose to completely immerse yourself in the Snowy Mountains landscape at our spectacular Sirett’s Hut. A must for 4WD enthusiasts and avid hikers. Availability dependent on weather and access conditions. Pets on application. All sites are individual sites- plenty of room and no adjoining sites. We offer water tank refills at the homestead (water is a mixture of rainwater and bore water). Firewood can be collected (cut from the ground only), or we offer cut wood for a small fee. We have fire pits at each site- camp fires allowed April to Oct, pending fire bans. One of our core values is to “leave no trace”, so guests respecting our environment is of upmost importance.

Undeveloped 7 acre bush block. Close to the centre of Kalaru and the lagoon. Minutes drive or cycle to mountain biking tracks and beautiful Tathra. Enjoy the sound of the bell birds. If you're lucky, you might see some native Orchids (usually blossoming around mid-November), or pop down to Tathra to watch whales on their migration or taking a break to feed south of Tathra Head. Please note: - This block is undeveloped, bar a short driveway. There are no services at this block (water, power, sewage, internet, waste collection etc.). It is the responsibility of campers to collect and remove their own waste. Info on the nearest waste facilities will be provided prior to check in. - Ticks are present on this block. Please ensure that campers have appropriate supplies (or are prepared to otherwise seek assistance) to deal with ticks and that pets are protected appropriately. - Snakes may also be present, although we have not personally sighted any. - This block used to be attached to a nearby farm. Misty Mountain Wildlife Refuge is a 330 acre farm which provides sanctuary to kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas and many bird species including their habitats. There are Alpacas and Sheep, Kangaroos, Wombats, Kookaburras, Echidnas and many other animals that enjoy this property. The land has 80 acres of cleared grassland this side of the river, and for the adventurous and energetic you can rome the other 250 acres by crossing to the other side of the rive, there are large stands of rainforest and bushland, with 2.5 km of Brown Mountain Creek and its tributary meandering through it. There are some swimming holes and mini rapids; the crystal clear water flowing over the river rocks can be heard from most parts of the farm. The land comprises Little Brown Mountain and has 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and farmland with wonderful cloud formations and mists contributing their mystery and beauty to the dramatic landscape. There is an orchard with trees producing several varieties of apple, stone fruit and citrus in abundance. A cottage garden produces various vegetables and herbs such as spinach, celery, potatoes, garlic, chives, lettuce, rocket, parsley, turmeric, peas, beans, tomato etc. Past bushfire damage to some trees in the cleared paddocks is evident however, many are recovering well and most provide photographers with interesting and dramatic subject matter. Due to the catastrophic events of the NSW bush fires in this area all camp fires must be kept responsibly safe and no unsafe camp fires will be tolerated. All Guests are required to have an acceptable camp toilet, no holes in the ground. All river access points are shared, be mindful of others. As dogs are welcome and even well behaved dogs will be dogs when it comes to their family, all guests are advised to make themselves known prior to going near another's camp site, then there is no surprises either way. We do not allow generators here. There is lots to do in the area with heaps of nature immersion. East Gippsland is one of the most bio-diverse areas on mainland Australia. You can explore rare, Old Growth forest, historic gold mines, climb to the peak of Mt Ellery and walk through the Errinundra Plateau. Mountain bike riding, horseriding, 4wd touring and bushwalking is awesome in this area. There is a camp kitchen with a communal fridge, microwave, stove and electricity. There is also a composting toilet and hot shower facilities. There is free wifi. THERE ARE NO SHOPS OR FUEL OR MOBILE RECEPTION. WIFI CALLING WORKS IF YOU HAVE THAT OPTION. Great peaceful spot. A distant way from the main roads. The only sound you can hear is the sheep in the distance but it’s not much at all. A proper toilet is located onsite which is a plus and fresh tank water. I would come here again.

We loved Earl’s Farm - best camp ever! We stayed for 12 nights over NYE. Loved the serenity, but with easy access to Eden. Heaps to do/explore - river, beaches, fishing, SUP-ing. We brought our own shower and used the very well maintained drop toilet. Flies were a bit annoying but that’s Australia for you.

We loved our stay at Duck Downs! Nerridah and Phillip are such great hosts and Phillip showed us a range of sites to choose from where we could have the most incredible views. So beautiful! It was windy in the afternoon but Phillip was right about it dying down after sunset. The camp sites are very well spaced so everyone has their privacy and other thoughtful inclusions are a firepit and bench, table and chairs at some along with rainwater drinking water, waste and recycling bins. Their little white dog is a very sweet and curious little guy who tried his best to make friends with our little moodle. I would definitely recommend Duck Downs!! 😊

Erik’s property was just lovely. Natural, unspoilt elevated Bushland, carefully mown walking track and lots of wombat holes and wild deer on the property . Two large dams and beautiful wildflowers. We thank Erik for making his property available to us as travellers. This was our first ( and probably last) HipCamp booking as long term, off grid travelers. I could not get any transparency or clarity around booking fees, until we had committed and the site fees transpired as double those suggested, as possible nightly rates on the “world class” ( their language, not mine) hip camps app. Erik was respectful and very responsive to any of my messages. Weather looked horrible according to the BOM, but we had almost no rain. The property gets next to no rain all year apparently. Philip was a great host who helped me fix my fridge and was a wealth of knowledge regarding the area. Great expansive views of the mountains from our site, and will return when we can!

We stayed in the paddock patch which was, like many of the duck downs sites, was nicely separated from everyone else with lovely views in all directions. A short walk to the flushable toilet and a Short drive to Dalgety pub. Lovely hosts as well. Will definitely be back.

We parked up on the grassy hill and had a fantastic view of hills and valleys. Plenty of room to take the dogs on nice long walk. After expressing interest in some local wildlife we even received a little rough map for sightings on the property. Would definitely stay again if we travel back down to NSW
