Hello. My name is Alicia. Welcome! * Re-opening for spring! Book now to secure your slice of heaven. Open from 26th September * We are now officially a wildlife sanctuary, with Humane Society International - Australia (Wildlife Land Trust!) 'Murrumbooee' ~ Waterfall Paradise, is 100 acres of a private, solitary, bushland, waterfall retreat, bordered by South East Forest National Park on two sides. Enjoy a two day weekend, intimate immersion in nature at it's best! Take a peaceful break to reconnect and bathe in the natural surroundings. We offer a sauna/sweat + cold plunge package (see 'extras' for booking), as well as a myriad of opportunities, all at your own pace such as ~ wildlife watching, stargazing, bushwalking/hiking, trail running, rock hopping, nature photography/journalling, swimming in the waterholes or just sitting around your campfire, relaxing and unwinding. In addition, we can provide a brunch food hamper, made from local ingredients where possible, from the beautiful Bega Valley! Gluten free options catered for (see 'extras'). Campsites are limited and exclusive, either camping with your own tent plus tree hammock provided, or book our three person tree tent. We also have a tent site. Parking is allocated on-site, with a short 300m walk to your campsite, so hiking gear is recommended. Please let your host know if you have a 2WD or 4WD car. Open for bookings, two night minimum, 2pm check in 'til before dark - check out 11am. Please note - firewood is provided - included in your booking & set ready for you to use. Campfires + sauna are subject to fire restrictions. Water and toilet amenities available. Please bring your choice of insect repellent. This is a 'leave no trace' property, so you will need to take your rubbish with you. Apologies - no pets ~ Thankyou. Our tent site boasts views of the majestic, mesmerising Nunnock River waterfalls, with a large flat area to pitch your tent. (Optional 8 person tent available - please enquire + a second tent site.) This site is the closest to the trail meandering over to the sauna/sweat + swimming/cold plunge spots. A campfire is provided with firewood. Toilet/water access is a short 5 minute walk, very close to camp. Be sure to bring all your camping needs (tent, mattress, sleeping bag BYO portable charger, cooking needs etc.), and a torch/headtorch. Hiking gear recommended. Please book in for a sauna/sweat and cold plunge - the waterfall and swimming holes are a short walk away and sign posted for your convenience, or perhaps a brunch hamper, both at an additional cost (see 'extras'). Our treetent site sleeps 3 people + runs beside the edge of the meandering and tranquil Nunnock Creek. (There is also the possibility of pitching a second tent - please enquire.) Be soothed + inspired, gently adventuring down through the creek, as you explore this pristine slice of heaven. Lyrebirds will be calling from close by! A campfire is provided with firewood. Toilet/water access is a short 5 minute walk, close to camp. Be sure to bring all your camping needs (mattress, sleeping bag BYO portable charger, cooking needs etc.), and a torch/headtorch. We will walk you into you camp spot 300m from parking. Hiking gear recommended. Please book in for a sauna/sweat and cold plunge - the waterfall and swimming holes are a short walk away and sign posted for your convenience, or perhaps a brunch hamper, both at an additional cost (see 'extras'). Our tree hammock, which can take up to three people, comes with the tent site - for pitching your own tent. You can choose to sleep in the open air on the hammock, for spectacular night time star gazing or for spotting nocturnal wild life. Highly recommended! A campfire is provided with firewood. Toilet/water access is very close to camp. Be sure to bring all your camping needs (mattress, sleeping bag BYO portable charger, cooking needs etc.), and a torch/headtorch. Hiking gear is recommended. Bandicoots and possums are regular visitors! Lovely relaxing time camping at Gaulds camp. Little extras with water bucket and fire grate and kettle were thoughtful. Relaxing listening to the sound of the waterfall. The sauna and cold plunge was worth it. Nice touch in an unique environment.
