Noonameena is a 100 acre natural bushland property located approx 7kms outside of Berrima, NSW in the Southern Highlands. While most of the property is covered by a variety of natural bushland, a small flat area of cleared land is perfect for recreational campers. The property has access to the Wingecarribee River to the south, a natural pool and large dam in the camping area. Other property features include commercial gardens, orchards and free range chicken coop as well as a homestead with surrounding gardens. There are also plenty of walking tracks on the property.

We are pet friendly; however, all pets must be on a leash or lead at all times due to the livestock on property. Fire pits will be supplied when you are within those periods. These are unpowered sites and you will need to be self-contained with camping toilet, shower and water, taking all waste with you when you go. You will be camped 15 minutes from Huskisson. Jervis Bay, Sussex Inlet if you feel like venturing further for a swim in the ocean or a meal in a restaurant.

Just returned from a weekend with our old dog at Wombat Flat, great place to unwind. Large level area that is private and quiet. Plenty of shade if it’s hot and about 50m from a wide slow flowing creek (beware submerged branches from recent floods?). Very peaceful, no boats, tiny whisper of traffic noise that gets drowned out by the birds. Wombat one night, friendly horses and cows if you go for a wander thru the paddocks. Thought it was a little pricey but there was a pile of cut wood at camp and the solitude was just what we were looking for. If you’re looking to be entertained you won’t find it at Wombat Flats, strictly BYO fun in whatever form you choose. Sanctuary Point, Huskisson,

Easy access, all level had 22ft caravan in there with Plenty of space. Slight road noise from Hume hwy. you can find firewood in nearby bushes, chickens for kids to see. A little pricey but would stay again.

Very peaceful. Yes you can hear the highway traffic all hours but it’s not significant enough to worry you. Lovely hosts. The only negative is the lack of signage. I think the sites should be numbered or named and allocated. The pathways through the bush to the river should also be sign posted, not easy to navigate, i can see visitors getting lost . Would I come back? Definitely

What a great spot to take it easy, Dana was the best with a great welcome. What a wonderful place to camp. Walk to the River it does takes a little effort to get down there but worth it, and not far from Berrima to walk around the town and have lunch at the pub. Lots of fire wood you just have to look for it. Thanks again, we stayed 9 nights lots of star to see while sitting around a fire. We will be back as not for from Sydney.

It was quiet and tucked out of the way of civilisation. Dana was very helpful in pointing out a great spot for us to camp on her property. Fire pits were available to use to minimise damage to the property.

It was just awesome to finally set up a camp you didn't have to worry about. Didn't need to secure any gear when going out adventuring for the day. Set up all our solar in the perfect spot to charge then enjoyed th e beautiful little towns and gorgeous beaches close by. Nowra was well appointed with everything we needed. Open fires every night using the provided fire pit and the nearby river for utility water was so convenient and enjoyable

This was one of our first Hip Camps. The drive in is really pretty and we loved being out in the open like this. The property is lovely and flat, so set up was quick and easy. Lots of Kangaroos. Our dog is still getting used to camping and is quite clingy which we find funny. Overall really loved our 2 night stay.
