Description
Located just inside the park entrance, this group campground holds up to 50 people. While it is a walk to the top of the peak, there are several trailheads just outside the site that makes wandering through the beautiful scenery to achieve the stunning views of Monterey Bay well worth the journey.

I’ve been to Fremont Peak campground several times asi live nearby. Be advised that it is usually very windy in the afternoons so tie everything down. The winds come in from the coast so it can be cold in the spring and fall. Nice views, but not much hiking or things to do.
