Mike was a great attentive host very funny and knowledgeable. We had to leave in the night for an emergency but the rest of the day was beautiful there’s a bar and restaurant on the lake a few minutes away and lots of trails

We loved this little spot! We were looking for an easy weekender not too far from Baltimore. Having water and bathrooms on site made for less planning. Mike was super helpful and had everything we needed!

Mike was very hospitable and helpful. The site was very nice and clean..it had everything you need to feel comfortable camping. Perfect spot for tent or rv. Hubby and I enjoyed ourselves 100%

Lovely, peaceful spot within walking distance of Mountain Lake! Mike was so nice and hospitable. We had a great time kayaking, watching the ducks, and relaxing by the campfire.

A great little site for tent camping, with a pond for our dogs to go swimming made for a nice camping spot. Mike was super friendly and helpful, couldn’t ask for a better host! Super close to hiking trails and a lake where swimming and fishing were available.

Mike was an awesome host! Very kind and helpful. He was able to answer any and all questions we had. Nice little camp site. We are fisherman and there is a lot of water access very close to Mike’s property (including 2 ponds on his property)!

This was my first time using hipcamp and it was a lovely experience on Mike's property. We set up two tents, one on the small hill, and one below it near the fire ring. The creek next to our fire felt very serene and relaxing. It rained off and on during our short stay which so we slept full to the sounds of it. We went on a little hike in the woods after our hot cup of coffee. Lake Shannondale is 5 minutes away.
Mike is an excellent host, very hospitable, with a great sense of humor.

What an awesome place! Loved walking the woods. The dog loved swimming in his pond! Camp site was overall awesome and Mike was one of a kind. A super nice guy. Unfortunately we got rained out and had to leave because our dog is terrified by thunder. Really cool place to camp can’t wait to go back.

This place has the vibes. Mike was a really good host and we had a great time just hanging at the camp, fishing , and boating at the nearby Mountain Lake Club.

We loved tent camping on Mike’s property. He gave us a tour when we arrived and was the friendliest host I’ve ever met. The site is the perfect peaceful getaway and is within a short drive to plenty of wineries, breweries, and hiking. Wish we could have stayed longer, but would 100% stay here again!
