Outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds will enjoy a visit to Lake Texoma, with over 90,000 acres of land, and 89,000 acres of water to explore. The park is known as the “Playground of the Southwest” (so much to do!), and the “Striper Capital of the World” (awesome striped bass fishing!). Equestrians can enjoy 40 miles of trails, and hikers can check out one of the many trails along the shoreline and through woodlands. You might like the 15-mile Cross Timbers Trail. It’s a moderately difficult hike, but the views are definitely worth it! Campers can choose from more than 1,000 campsites, ranging from primitive to full hookup RV sites, so take your pick! Bring your boat and explore the sheltered coves along the shoreline. Don’t have your own? You can rent a sailboat or powerboat from one of the several marinas on the lake. Who’s in?
