The Treehouse is very charming and the camp area is well shaded. Unfortunately the carpet in the treehouse was soaked and got some of our stuff wet. Also, the bed didn’t have fitted sheets and didn’t feel level, so sleeping wasn’t very pleasant. However, Steve helped us a great deal getting the AC and the lights working, and the morning views were absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

We had a fantastic stay at the Treehouse. Steve is a great host. Very good location given it's not too far from the city....it's a cozy & private site. Couple of tips for fellow travelers: 1) wear your mud shoes when there is rain just before your stay 2) expect & be prepared to use a make shift toilet (few yards away on the trail)...better to pack a flash light.

Steve was a wonderful gracious host. The treehouse was splendid. The trails are a nice short walk with plenty of critters. At night it looks beautiful seeing the fireflies fill the horizon. I only stayed a night but it was a lovely experience. Steve was very helpful and kind.

Steve was great! It rained the day before we came and he took the time to let us know it probably wouldn’t be so comfortable with all the mud and accommodated us in the town near by until it dried overnight! He’s super friendly and we enjoyed our stay! The property is amazing is great for a get away!

Perfect treehouse for myself + my pup. One of my fav campsites so far bc of the peace & quiet and privacy. The views from the treehouse area are magical. You can lay on the trampoline and watch the shooting stars. We will definitely be back soon !!!!

It’s very much camping as opposed to glamping! The outhouse and shower are away a bit and the spiders and huge spiderwebs covering the door and inside made us decide using the woods was preferable! This also meant there was not potable water. The pool and hot tub are significantly away from the treehouse by the hosts private quarters so not something we chose to use as it wasn’t private. The bed mattress slides downhill towards the doorway as the treehouse isn’t square so sleeping was a bit of a challenge trying to keep the mattress on the sloping frame. The door is glass and doesn’t lock…and has to be closed in just the right way to stay closed. During the night what we assumed was a raccoon climbed up the stairs and was scratching at the door at 4 am and gave us quite a fright! We did have an adventure but won’t be repeating it! If you want a camping experience…not bad. We decided to pay just a tiny bit more for a hotel room next time!

Best place ever. Just heavenly. This is my son’s favorite place in the world. Steve, our host is the greatest ever. He provides the perfect place for all those wanting to get away from the craziness and chaos of this world. The Tree-house is so fun to stay in. My 11 yr old son wants to keep coming back. This is our second time here. We will keep coming back to the this little enchanted camp site again and again.
Thank you so much Steve! You are such a great example for my son. The tractor ride and feeding the goats was supreme! We love this place!

Super cute lil treehouse complete with a hammock and swings (it even had AC and a mini fridge)! We made hotdogs and s'mores over a campfire, played checkers in the pool, soaked in the hottub, laid out on the trampoline & gazed at the stars. We saw an armadillo, an army of tiny frogs, and a deer. We followed the trail along the creek & collected shells, and fed some goats! We loved it and we'll be back!

We loved camping on Steve's land! It was quiet and private, plus he was very nice. The pool water was exceptionally clean and the hot tub was very relaxing. The trampoline for stargazing was a wonderful touch! Do be aware in the bathroom, as it is an open air outhouse. Thankfully wasps sleep at night! The bed was a little tricky and more of an elevated mat but we had cot pads and sleeping bags with us so we were definitely able to make it work! Excellent anniversary adventure! ♥

The treehouse is so cute and night next to the creek in a relatively private part of the property. It’s shady and has a fire pit, hammock, picnic table very close to a parking spot. There are an AC and power outlets in the small treehouse room. The shower situation is a basic outdoor shower so be prepared for that. We sadly did not use the hottub or pool but the stars were so pretty and it would have been a perfect night.
Be sure to bring your own towels and bedding - pillows, sheet, blanket or sleeping bags.
We loved it! Will definitely be back in the future.

The location was amazing! Being tucked away in our own lil world was just what we needed and it’s close enough to the big cities and parks/ hiking trails.
Steve was a wonderful host that went above and beyond for us and was understanding when we notified him that we would be back at the property at a super late hour due to an event.
The place is clean and comfortable! We will definitely be back in the future!

This is a gorgeous property with everything you need to relax and find serenity. My daughter and I enjoyed the jumbo trampoline in the middle of a meadow with beautiful wildflowers all around. The treehouse was wonderful! We slept soundly and felt completely safe. The campgrounds were perfect. Also, we had a great time feeding and learning about the goats. Surpassing all the wonderful accommodations, was Steve, the host. He was very kind, welcoming and took great care of us during our stay. He even brought us treats from his daughter’s incredible bakery!
The winds were a little crazy the evening we stayed and blew a piece of my prized camping equipment down into the creek about 30-40 yards down. Steve spent over 2 hours on his Sunday morning literally climbing through the sharp thickets, down to the embankment, and successfully rescued my treasured gadget. I am so grateful for his kindness, the time he spent, and the adventure he was willing to go on to help me- all with a smile on his face, simultaneously telling me the most hilarious and interesting stories. What a fabulous human! We are thankful for you, Steve!

I feel like this was a great way to do our first ever camping trip. Maybe I didn’t look closely enough at the listing but there were several surprise perks! The room has a mini fridge, mattress with sheet on bed and working bedside lamp, AC and heat source; there are folding chairs near the fire pit and on the deck, and ample lighting from the string lights and flood light. Next time we come I’m going to pay better attention on our tour to how to turn off, I thought it’d be obvious but couldn’t figure it out at night and I prefer the dark! But we definitely didn’t need the little lights we packed for my kids’ tent with these. Speaking of which, we got a tour upon arrival! Cute baby goats, trampoline, and kids had a blast on the swing too. We felt very welcomed and comfortable on this trip.

Steve, the host is hospitable but the property needs improvements. There is only one full size bed and two can sleep though it is listed as sleeps four. No pillows we're provided. The hammock is ripped and not usable. Access to the creek is blocked even though it was dry. No chairs on which we can sit back and relax.

I bright my 5yr old and 3yr old. They had a blast! Steve did a great job making it not just a stay but an experience! The tractor ride and feeding the goats was awesome. Pool was perfect and clean. Treehouse was super cool. Not a ton of room but enough for me to sleep on the bed and my two kids on sleeping pads on the ground. Window unit keeps it cold!! Awesome place to stay!

Best trip ever. My 9 year old son gave it 10 Stars! Steve was very invested and involved in making this trip fun and bit magical for young boy. The treehouse was spectacular.
Very cozy and sublime. We stayed 2 days. On the last night we experienced torrential rain. It looked as though we were in a tropical forest! It was amazing. We did get very muddy because the campsite was dirt and we slipped around trying to walk the next day. The clay stuck to our shoes. We had to walk very slowly down the stairs to keep from slipping. But was still fun. Everything was perfect. Steve allowed my son to drive his tractor which was life changing for him. If you have children this is the best place to go. There’s a trampoline in the field. My son basically lived on it. They have a cool tree seeing as well. It’s really a fairytale campsite.

Ok, first of all I would like to say thank you to Steve for creating such amazing campsite! It almost looks like a “movie site” It’s so otherworldly. I took my 9 year old son with me and he said It was the best time of his life. It’s like being able to camp in one of those treehouses we see on sitcoms growing up!
My son said that driving the tractor was the highlight of his trip. And obviously the “treehouse “ was the hit with both of us. We experienced a torrential downpour that was amazing, looked like a rainstorm you would hear in a rainforest. Btw: the treehouse has air conditioning and a spot to sleep on… very cozy. Thank you again Steve. You really impressed us. Your hospitality will keep us coming back!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. It is very quiet with lots of land to explore. The tree house is private and can't be seen or really heard from the house. There is lots of shade in the area of the treehouse so it doest get real hot. The hot tub and pool were clean. The treehouse was clean with great ac. Bed is to be expected for camping. The stairs are steep. The bathroom is nearby. I knew it was a compost toilet but did not know it didn't have a door. Be careful with food as the raccoons will steal your marshmallows. We had been warned but forgot. Trails were well maintained. We enjoyed feeding the goats. We will definitely will be booking here again. Steve was helpful with any needs.

Treehouse on the Creek
This is our second time visiting and we enjoyed every second of it! Such a cute little spot and perfect for a break from the city. We will definitely be making this a yearly tradition!
