Rivershack is located in beautiful garden surroundings on the Murray river in Paringa. Located just 4 km from the beautiful town called Renmark.
Just a short walk 200 meters down to your very own riverbank, speedboats welcome, canoe for hire lots of wildlife, koalas, echidnas, lots of bird life, fishing allowed, campfire in winter.
The guests will have access to the beautiful garden area with all BBQ facilities, (please note there is no oven or stove in the shack) small back yard for your furry friends, pets allowed inside, also a short walk down to your very own riverbank about 200 meters which has a campfire and bbq plate for cooking, speedboats welcome and canoe hire. We also have two mini ponies Boo and Lady.
We also have Riley the tame sheep and his girlfriend the black-faced sheep
The Rivershack is close to the very famous woodshed brewery Wilkadene just 10 km away, and can also go by boat.

In 2019 I was sitting in my Alfresco Area feeling that the beauty offered in front of my property should be shared to people I thought might appreciate a different aspect to Coober. Since that time I have probably had 2000+ guests enjoy what Coober Pedy Views has to offer.
Whilst it remains a rustic type setting, with campers needing to be SELF SUFFICIENT (Flushing LOO with a VIEW is now available for campers without their own) I can offer Power (subject to availability) to 6/8 sites.
Digging anywhere on the property is forbidden, there are no Opals on CPVs evident when the 3 large garages were dug. Digging softens the ground making it dangerous for avalanches on the embankments and walls especially after rain that creates washouts as you can see on the front embankments. Our Public Noodling Area is the only place in Coober safe to dig freely.

Rivershack is located in beautiful garden surroundings on the Murray river in Paringa. Located just 4 km from the beautiful town called Renmark.
Just a short walk 200 meters down to your very own riverbank, speedboats welcome, canoe for hire lots of wildlife, koalas, echidnas, lots of bird life, fishing allowed, campfire in winter.
The guests will have access to the beautiful garden area with all BBQ facilities, (please note there is no oven or stove in the shack) small back yard for your furry friends, pets allowed inside, also a short walk down to your very own riverbank about 200 meters which has a campfire and bbq plate for cooking, speedboats welcome and canoe hire. We also have two mini ponies Boo and Lady.
We also have Riley the tame sheep and his girlfriend the black-faced sheep
The Rivershack is close to the very famous woodshed brewery Wilkadene just 10 km away, and can also go by boat.

The Rivershack is about 200 meters from the riverbank, you can walk down or drive, the road is only really suitable for 4WD, all-wheel drive, and front wheel drive.

In 2019 I was sitting in my Alfresco Area feeling that the beauty offered in front of my property should be shared to people I thought might appreciate a different aspect to Coober. Since that time I have probably had 2000+ guests enjoy what Coober Pedy Views has to offer.
Whilst it remains a rustic type setting, with campers needing to be SELF SUFFICIENT (Flushing LOO with a VIEW is now available for campers without their own) I can offer Power (subject to availability) to 6/8 sites.
Digging anywhere on the property is forbidden, there are no Opals on CPVs evident when the 3 large garages were dug. Digging softens the ground making it dangerous for avalanches on the embankments and walls especially after rain that creates washouts as you can see on the front embankments. Our Public Noodling Area is the only place in Coober safe to dig freely.

The views are the best in Coober Pedy. A spectacular sunrise, close to everything & a lovely host. Highly recommend.

By far one of the best campsites in Australia. We will definitely be back here. Loved the facilities, very clean and new. The grass was lush and comfortable. Best sunset of the Murray river and the island is amazing to relax on.

Waterfront is just the most gorgeous riverside camp I have ever been to.
The facilities are next level, always clean and much more than you would expect from a “caravan park”. Other campers are exceptionally friendly, even inviting us to join them for dinner.
The atmosphere is second to none; the picturesque river view, the serenity, the bird life. Everything is just gorgeous!

Great location. Lovely sunsets over the water. A pub with great meals on your doorstep. A great jetty. Caught several squid and had a brilliant fresh meal. Tidy and clean facilities, all in good working order. Good communication. Had a great stay :)

Really quiet spot for camping and Kayaking.
We had a really relaxing time paddling in the lagoon away from the motor craft on the river adjacent. Will come back to this spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at Tipsy Hill. Would’ve loved to stay longer but we will definitely be back again to enjoy an extended stay. Loved the location, nice and private, friendly and helpful host, great bird life, easy to launch the kayak and just a beautiful spot to relax and unwind.

Beautiful spot next to the creek which is spring fed.
Although it’s only 5 minutes from Mount barker it feels very far out in country which is nice and peaceful.
The 1kg sausages we got was also great, absolutely delicious.
Little bit overgrown vegetation at the time but nothing that a bunch of goats could come in and eat and clean out in a day. Other than that it’s really is a perfect little spot!

Weekend Trip to Mallee View Camping
We spent the long weekend checking out a few camp spots and Sturt Bay Bush Campground is definitely a winner.
Great facilities, and the warm showers are a real bonus after a day out exploring. The whole area is well kept, the sites are spacious, and everyone we met was really friendly.
David the host was fantastic and made us feel very welcome.
We’ll definitely be back.
