Description

Grab your coonskin hat and napsack on a stick for this one! Or modern backpacking gear if you so prefer because Horseshoe Road Recreation Area Campground can only be reached by foot, bike, or boat. FYI it’s worth the trek. Enjoy this landscape by canoeing, hiking one of many trails, or even whitewater rafting (experienced/experts only)!

I've been there a couple times and have never seen campsites. Not sure if its a new feature.

Like Brandon I have never actually seen the campsite except on pictures but I think from looking at Satellite imagery they're much further up than I have gone. I think the website said one to one and a half miles out you have to haul your stuff. Might be closer access if you can boat across the pond
