Description

An angler’s paradise, Karta River Cabin sits on a bluff overlooking the Karta River mouth. The scenic river is known all around for its large salmon runs. Try your luck at reeling in steelhead, sockeye, and coho salmon. During sockeye salmon season, people gather at the mouth of the river to subsistence fish and often process and smoke the fish right there on site. Not much of a fisherman? No problem, you can also enjoy hiking through the forest of spruce and hemlock, check out nearby lakes, and take in views of the surrounding mountain peaks.
