Looking to throw a memorable party, host a family reunion, or just get 50 of your closest friends together for a day of fishing and a night of story-telling by the fire? Look no further than Virginia’s Caldwell Fields Campground, located in Jefferson National Forest. The two sister fields that make up this area, Milton and George, are both mowed and grassy, surrounded by National Forest land and perfect for a game of ultimate frisbee, bocce ball, or even "Red Rover". Both have a 50 person capacity and can be rented together or separately, and both can fit 25 vehicles. Dogs are welcome, all the more reason to pack that disc! The sites sit in a narrow valley, creating Craig Creek, a perfect spot for fishing or just splashing around on a hot day. Just 20 minutes drive from Blacksburg, VA, your crew could also drive over to catch a Virginia Tech Hokies game—after a day of competing with each other, you can all root for the home team and fill up on some bleacher grub!
