This is Camping and keep in mind this is a rugged camping experience not for the faint at heart. The desert is HOT in the summer and cold in the winter, the weather is Unpredictable and you May experience our Wild storms...Monsoon season runs from July-August which is amazing if you are into photography. Be sure to bring proper gear for the rain (if we get any). You may hear coyotes, see spiders, experience the annoying desert gnats at certain times of the day during the hotter summer season. You will want to bring bug spray, but if you forgot we do sell it in our camp store. If you stay with us you will get the experience of desert camping, wild, raw and rugged. It is an amazing experience to be had, with beautiful views and the feeling of freedom that is hard to find in more civilized and populated locations. We had an excellent stay! Amber and Caleb were extremely friendly and helpful. The Sky Dancers Den was a bit of a splurge but with the rough weather that came in we were very happy to have the extra space. We were very cozy at night despite the cold temperatures. I'd recommend checking it out!

Amber and Caleb were the most welcoming hosts. Their instructions were easy to follow and they were very communicative and helpful. They were incredibly thoughtful with every little detail in our beautiful, clean tent and site. They thought of everything! The only thing I would've changed is that we wished we'd stay a little longer. This place is incredibly special and we will definitely be back soon!

Great place that's as close to Canyonlands National Park as one could hope for. Loved all the little amenities that came with the place. Would definitely stay here again.

This site and tent was everything we had hoped for. We were, of course, freezing cold. As to be expected, the temps dipped to the low 20's by nightfall. The tent is so large and roomy, but it is not going to keep out the cold. A propane heater was provided and once we properly sealed up the doors, we were able to get a good warmth in there. We added our own blankets on top of the ones provided just in case and we were boiling hot by morning! Everything we needed was available! There is absolutely NO cell reception here and that's a good thing! The skies are nice and dark and we took some great night photography! Bathrooms are a bit of a walk from this tent's location, but nothing outrageous.

Sky dancers den was an incredible find. The location is so remote and beautiful. You really feel like it’s just you for hundreds of miles. Amber is an amazing and responsive host. I would just note to bring sleeping shades if you can’t sleep when it’s light because you cannot turn off the solar lights. Also, bring extra warm clothes and extra blankets if your weather looks like it’ll be below freezing. Would highly recommend this place and will be coming back soon!

Response from Amber, the Host, on December 18th, 2020

Thank you for your review. It is our sincerest apologies that we lacked the foresite to leave instructions on how to operate the solar lights which can be turned off by the switch under the panels. Thank you so much for your helpful feedback. We look forward to hosting you in the future. 😊
