We loved the cabin, it took us back to the virtues of Benjamin Franklin with the kerosene lamps and misty-eyed visions of a distant time I only know from books. The bubbling brook was a nice touch and we were blessed with a tree frog, which we did not know was local to michigan. It was like finding out Madonna was from Saginaw! How neat! Our host was lovely and friendly and I believe we’ll be staying in the winter to take advantage of the wood stove. One thing we really like about this place is it’s perceived remoteness but when you leave the property you are only 5 minutes from town.
