in MaƱana McKinney Ranch, CaliforniaMagical ambiance! amazing find!
This historical value of the place is only matched by its physical beauty. It is a natural paradise in a unique and diverse microclimate abundant with life. The valley is filled with the songs and chattering of its animals: frogs, birds, and rabbits carry on in this peaceful refuge from the ordinary. Winding paths quickly take you from a wooden glen, to a marshy pond, to a high-desert mountainside in this untamed oasis. And for anyone looking for an outdoor event space with the perfect combination of wilderness and amenities (the freestanding resort- style bathroom, running water at the campsites) you will find it here.
Primitive Land.
in No longer doing, CaliforniaFriendly community - epic setting
Gorgeous terrain, epic sunsets, extremely friendly and interesting people to meet at the community kitchen- this was a camping experience like no other. We arrived to find a well groomed campsite already to go. We had adequate running water, a nearby bathroom, even a shower a short hike away. There is a sauna, a magnetic rock garden, and a drum circle with very chill, fun-loving people.
If you come in the middle of summer like we did, be aware of the direction of the sunrise, and try to pitch your tent in the shade.
