Magical La Cueva Prairie Fire Tipi
in La Cueva Teepee Magic, New MexicoPrairie fire tipi
Great little spot set back about 40 yards or so behind the personal residence but still far enough to feel secluded. The tipi was in good condition and the inside was comfortable. The host was onsite and very nice and helpful. She had noted there were electric blankets but we were ok without them turned on over Memorial weekend. Plenty of firewood around to be used and flat spots for tents if need be. I don't think I would really recommend more than 2 people in the tipi although there was futon if you wanted to use it. The open air horse trailer converted into a bathroom / shower / mini kitchen was pretty well done. Overall, it was a nice spot for a night if you are looking for something a little different.
