Mandala Springs Camp Sites
in Mandala Springs Wellness Center, CaliforniaGreat excuse to come out to the lake county to this very family friendly campsite with a playground, bikes, little creek with paddle boats, pool (unheated), a communal campfire (not really designed for bbq grill), immaculate toilet/hot shower trailer and even a commercial kitchen trailer and pizza oven. The kids had a great time and it is a sweet little spot to enjoy being outside for a day or two (nearby Harbin Hotsprings is a new age destination with lots of relaxation and nudity)! It was very cold, windy and wet through the night so the adults were sleep deprived, kids were freezing and we all dashed right out all the way to Middletown at 6.30am for breakfast, we clearly needed better tents... but weather aside I would recommend this campsite (I'd try the cabins next time) for young families. Thanks Jerry for your hospitality!
