Great cozy cabin. Very nature friendly (For example, the shower water is heated via solar with propane back up). We spoke with Irene via Hipcamp, and met with Bill at the property (Irene was out of town). Both were very welcoming and hospitable, making sure we didn't hesitate to ask for anything. Our trip went much better than expected by following Bill's recommendations of places to go, and the outside hot tub and fire pit were pure bliss after each long day. If you're looking for something inside the MDI(Mount Desert Island) and want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor in a quiet neighborhood with less traffic, and similar distance to all the tour sites, this is a great choice!
