Large Yurt near National Forest
in All You Need Institute, MississippiThe yurt was cool, with a lot of instruments, which my daughter loved. There's an interesting lichen trail on the land, that Max took us on a walk of and pointed out some things. The pond is cool and has a really interesting pavilion next to it, with a living roof. It's driving distance to DeSoto National Forest and Hattiesburg. The DIY and community nature of the Institute is pretty unique.

in The Wonderland Mill, MassachusettsSite 3 - Healers' Headquarters
in Healers' Headquarters, MassachusettsI knowingly camped in winter, so there was recent snowfall. Since it wasn't practical for me to setup camp in that type of weather (I was traveling for several days in an RV with my 17-month old and did not have winter camping gear), our host allowed us to setup our RV in the drive. We still made use of hiking around on the property, which was very pretty.
