My friends and I had a thoroughly enjoyable time on Tom's farm. The tranquility and serenity is hard to beat. After staying at state and private campgrounds all my life I'm not sure I can go back. Proximity to 'The Wine Trail' and St. Joseph/Benton Harbour was great. -- The site could use some upkeep and based on photos has aged. There is currently only one picnic table now, and it's missing a chunk from its top reducing useable space; thankfully we brought folding tables. A fresh mow or lower cut in the camping area would also go a long way. A fire ring of sorts would also be well placed and appreciated. We bought some wood in town to get fires going as the provided wood was large limbs/trunks and needed some help lighting. Tom was very communicative and the produce he gifted to use was delicious. Bathroom in the pole barn lacked toilet paper the first evening but was well stocked the rest of the weekend.
