Wildcat Creek Farm
in Wildcat Creek Farm in Tyrone, KentuckyThis was the second time, and not the last, that a group of us have camped at Wildcat Creek Farm... and there's a reason for that.
The location had everything. It was close enough to the city in case you forget anything yet secluded enough to feel your out in nowhere. There is a beautiful view of the Kentucky River and if the water level is low enough there is access to a rock shoal on the river which we took full advantage of this year to float in the river. The farm is adjacent to Wildcat Creek. We hiked up the creek to a quaint waterfall and then back down it to the camp site.
Our hosts couldn't have been better. They had the site mowed and looking great when we arrived. They were very gracious and kind. Thanks for an awesome time guys.
