Super friendly host and wonderful location. We were bikepacking the Arkansas High Country Route and this camp is 1 mile off the route on very nice road with a few water crossings. The host had a fire pit, chairs, compost toilet, and friendly kitty for our stay.

My husband and I stayed here for one magical night on our way back from Moab to Houston. The drive out is an adventure and the views are amazing!! The trails, sunset, and patio views are worth coming out to stay in this location. If we are back in the area we would stay here again!

Incredible views and absolutely worth every effort to drive out. We did an amazing hike and watched a gorgeous sunset. The temps cooled way down at night as well. The shower was much needed and very warm. Patrick is very friendly and tells some great stories.

My husband and I loved our stay! Campsite 4 had some wonderful shade trees, plenty of firewood, a great firepit, a fence if you want to feel even safer, and a flat spot to set up your ten looking at the valley. The shower and bathroom are nice too. Our host was friendly and very helpful with anything we needed. The location is perfect for cycling and seeing both state parks.

If you want to camp off the grid and have an amazing view this is the place for you! Recommend confidence in driving off road. Nothing technical but dirt and gravel for about 5 miles to your camp location. Easy to drive at night once you drive it in the day. Bring you own water, light source, wood and food. We went cycling about some with our MTB and it was great. Rob was super friendly and always willing to help. We would stay again and would recommend to our friends.
