Blackberry Row
in Shalom Farm, TennesseeGreat place to get away and relax
We had a great time camping at Blackberry Row. We planned to visit the Amish farms in the area, and the campground was only minutes away from all of them. Thomas and his family were wonderful hosts who made us feel completely welcome on their farm. We enjoyed all of the farm animals especially the chickens that paid us a morning visit. The pavilion was wonderful and we used it as a porch to keep our chairs and other equipment dry through the night. Our dog Marleigh also enjoyed hanging out on the farm.
Sway Camping
in HammockâSway Private Off Grid Camp, TennesseeSolitude
This is a wonderful place to stay. Chris is a gracious, welcoming, and helpful host, and I love what heâs doing with the land. This is a primitive campsite which means that you have a beautiful piece of land where you can be alone and enjoy the sounds of nature. Itâs a little hard to find, but Chris goes out of his way to help you find your way. I stayed in the Pine Forest site which almost felt like another world. I highly recommend this campground for those who want a weekend away from it all. You wonât find this kind of solitude at a public campground.
