Intro: Briers Ranch Primitive Camping is 160 acres of land, with 40 acres typically used for camping. (Much of the place is open pasture. This is a working ranch with cattle grazing on the land.) The 40 acres is a mix of pasture, trees. brush, gullies and transition area. Specific campsites are not IDed. Hipcampers pick their preferred spots . I live off-site but am available via text/phone call or contact via Hipcamp booking. My day job is as a professor at Texas A&M University. (Yep, I are a Aggie!)
Briers Primitive Camping is about a half-mile thru two pastures off of FM 244. Some pasture, some woods, creek, gullies--lots to explore.
