Wooded camp with Mountain view
in Forest at Sand Mountain, GeorgiaThis was an incredible campsite! My group and I had a great time. It truly felt like we were camping in the mountains, especially with the sweetest cat and passing-by turtle who hung out with us. Aaron and his wife were amazing hosts, I cannot thank them enough. There was a wide variety of activities to do even though we were pressed on time. Aaron gave us a guided hike up the mountain and there were a ton of notable sights and cool rock formations, including one of the most badass caves I've ever seen. I highly recommend this site, whether just for a nights rest or for an extended period visit.
Peaceful Hanging
in Peace of the Woods, North CarolinaI had such a wonderful time at Peace of the Woods II. It was in a great location, less than a half hour's drive to downtown Murphy and even a shorter drive to Lake Hiwassee; lots to see and do in the area. The property was beautiful, plenty of trees for hammocking and a nice peaceful creek running beside. Out of all 5 campsites that my group stayed in on our NC roadtrip, this was the only one where we received cellular data which was great. Hope and her husband were super cool and nice, they helped us find the campsite and explained all that was offered. We felt very welcomed. Overall I highly recommend this campsite.
