Past trip
in Camping in Wine Country, OhioI was traveling cross country and only stayed long enough to get some sleep in my tent. I arrived when it was dark and left the next morning just before sunrise, but it was exactly what I needed. The only issue I had was not being able to drive my tent stakes all the way into the ground (soil was a little rocky for me). I'd recommend having some tent weights or an alternative way to secure your tent. No biggie though. Tom was a good host; he communicated quickly and checked in a few times to see how I was doing.
Past trip
in Cardinâs Lake, MissouriI was only here long enough to put my tent up, sleep, then take my tent down and leave. I'm sure it wouldâve been a great spot for a longer stay with picnic tables, a nice fire, and some fishing. Melane was quick to respond, gave good directions, and was a friendly and welcoming host.

(Dispersed site)
I had a great time staying here, even if it was only one night. Tammy was quick to respond after I booked and gave good directions to her place which were easy to follow. The road was a little rough in a couple spots going in but I just had to go slow. The spot was exactly as described, and there were a handful of famous Oatman burros waiting for me at my campsite. I asked them to stick around but they declined. :/ There was a fire ban in effect, so I didn't get to start a campfire, but I was able to use my propane stove. The weather couldn't have been any better. The sun was just setting as I set up my tent next to the only tree around and when the sun set, the moon came out in full and lit up the entire valley and mountains. I wish I'd had a real camera because the view was spectacular and it went very well with the steak dinner I cooked on my stove. The place is dead quiet except for the burros braying at night, but that didn't bother me, and I still got a full night's sleep. I didn't get a chance to use the bathroom or shower, so I can't say anything about that, but everything else was great and I'd definitely recommend this campsite if you're down for camping out in peace and quiet out on the open desert.

Roadrunner Farm, Zinfandel
in Roadrunner Farm, CaliforniaI loved this place. Easy to find with the directions they gave me. Good, quick communication with the owners. The site was perfect. A good distance from the house for plenty of privacy, but also close enough to walk to use the restroom. It was really handy having a camp sink to wash dishes and have drinking water. Sunsets dropping down behind the mountains were beautiful. And their really sweet dog was a good companion to have around. She'll play catch all day if you can handle it.
