Stay in the cabin! We loved our time in the meadow. Doug and Shannon were incredible hosts - they were hospitable, gracious, responsive, friendly and flexible. They made sure we had any and everything we needed, and they made themselves available. They even invited our 3 year old son to help collect eggs and feed the chickens; he loved it! The cabin is quaint and cozy - even cuter than the pictures (we are used to rustic forest service cabins). We spent the entire afternoon relaxing by the creek, reading on the porch, enjoying a bonfire, and hiking on their property. The fresh egg breakfast and coffee were great. As people who usually tent camp, this experience was a true treat. We'll be back! And we hope to bring some friends.
