This site offers a one of a kind wilderness experience! This is camping the way I personally enjoy it; Situated on over 300 acres of pine and hardwood forest, the property has over 1.5 miles of trails to explore by hiking or mountain biking and over one mile of creek frontage. You may forget that you are in the Piedmont region as the beautiful rapids from two creeks and mountainous terrain with abundant mountain laurel will take your mind to the mountains. This property is conveniently within 30 minutes of Greenville, Simpsonville and Anderson. There is a large sandy bottomed portion of the creek adjacent to the camping area which is the perfect place to cool off on warm days.
I have participated with Hipcamp with several other listings for several years. This particular camp site is brand new as of May 18, 2020 and there are no reviews as a result. Please see my other listings, Creekside Camp and Lakeside Camp in the Honea Path, South Carolina area and the reviews of those to get an idea of how we run our camping areas.

GREAT spot! On the bank of sandy swimming hole where two creeks meet. Private and clean. Alex was easy to reach and gave clear directions. It is a bit of a walk from the parking spot to the site, so pack light.
Outdoor family of 4
We loved this campsite it was very private/secluded and spacious right on the creek. We went tubing and not far down stream from the site there is a nice several foot fall that was really fun to tube down for everyone'. Fishing was very good for the kids as they caught plenty of small size fish with worms and trout magnet lures. Alex the host was there anytime we needed him or had any questions if you love the outdoors and being in the woods this place is fantastic.
We had a wonderful time at Alex's campsite. It was very peaceful and secluded which made celebrating my birthday during a time of social distancing easy and fun. We plan to continue using this site for future trips and would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway.
The hill to and from the site is a bit steep and the terrain can be iffy especially if it rains so be prepared. We brought an outdoor collapsible wagon which made bring our stuff up and down MUCH easier.
Best Hipcamp campsite I have ever been too! So beautiful, secluded, and peaceful! We had the most amazing trip, including fishing and tubing in the river. The whole campsite is shaded so it wasn’t too hot. We will definitely be back again!
