Description

Savanna and Riverway Campground sits along the banks of the St. Croix River. This wild and scenic river is a great spot for kayaking and exploring the scenic river valley. Don’t have a boat of your own? You can rent a kayak, canoe, or paddleboard here—how convenient! Stretch out on the sandy beach or head out for a hike into the forests, wetlands, and meadows of the park.

The Savanna Campground is more secluded than the Riverway Campground. Some of the best hikes are around the Hardwood Hills Trail and the Woodland Edge Trail. Bring lots of bug repellant.
