Amazing glamping experience!! 10/10 Will definitely be back. So close to Lake Crescent. Site 6 was perfect, not as much noise from the kitchen and bathrooms that I would assume some other sites may have.

Magical Forest Adventure

We loved this place! It was a magical mushroom filled forest with hidden treasures all over! Such a beautiful and amazing place. Everything we needed was there and more. Loved seeing all the carved sculptures hidden around. I plan to return to Olympic to stay here again with friends for sure. What a gem!

Wish I had stayed longer!

I had booked this campsite for myself, some college friends, and our wives, as a place to stay between two days at olympic national park. Overall, the only negative from our stay was that we didnt plan in more time to stay at this site! The location (both within the campgrounds and how close it was to olympic) was amazing, especially with its proximity to the facilities, the attention to detail was very impressive, and if I ever find myself in Washington again, I willl be booking this site again, but for multiple nights. The only item I would note is just a caution for those who plan to drive into the site, that the path is a bit tight. We had a Chrysler Pacifica, and were able to wiggle in, but it was close.

This was our second stay at Sol Duc Retreat, and we'll definitely be back! The property is peaceful, whimsical, and full of charming wood-carved mushrooms. We loved the clean bathrooms and the community kitchen—it was perfect for heating water for our morning coffee. Being right on the Olympic Discovery Trail made it incredibly convenient for biking, and the trails connecting the campsites made exploring so much fun. Such a unique and relaxing place to stay! 🌲🍄🚴

Hidden Gem in the Olympic Pennisula

This was our second stay at Sol Duc Retreat, and it definitely won't be our last! The property is incredibly charming, peaceful, and full of whimsical touches. We loved all of the hand-carved wooden mushrooms and other fun carvings scattered throughout the grounds—they make exploring the property feel magical. The amenities are fantastic for campers. Having clean bathrooms and access to the community kitchen was such a bonus. It was perfect for heating water for our morning coffee before heading out for the day. One of our favorite features is that the retreat sits right on the Olympic Discovery Trail, making it incredibly convenient for biking. There are also trails throughout the property that connect the different campsites, which makes it fun to wander and explore. If you're looking for a unique, cozy campground surrounded by beautiful rainforest, this is the place. We can't wait to come back again! 🌲🍄🚴‍♀️

Pleasantly Surprised Camper

I arrived at the Sol Duc Retreat campground late in the afternoon and discovered just how cool it is! Cute wood sculptures everywhere, outdoors kitchens and trails and fire pits and activity areas all around the pristinely maintained property. I realized quickly my rooftop tent set up would not work for the space I reserved. It was tight and I wouldn’t be able to access the ladder up to my tent. I sought out the camp host and met Zion, the owners son. Lovely young man who was friendly and funny and he jumped into action to figure out how to accommodate me and my setup, he offered a whole new campsite but agreed to let me camp in a spot originally for parking for a few vehicles and to allow me to use the public fire pit like my own for the evening. I ate my dinner and made a big fire from firewood I purchased onsite via Venmo- after it ran out Zion chopped more wood and even delivered some to a couples spot via golfcart. This place is so fun and clean and unique. I wish I was staying longer as I had to get up early to head out and didn’t get to explore too much. Side note they have very fast free WIFI in a central area, toilets, showers, lights in the trees, places to sit and explore and lots of room for groups even. Totally recommend checking this place out 10/10! For someone who has never camped in a private campground I was so pleasantly surprised by how truly special this place was and how much obvious care and love was put into creating this whimsical oasis in the trees!

So cool! So many fun areas that felt magical and welcoming. At night the campground was lit up with fairy lights and it was just really really cool. The campsites are well cared for and easy to use. They are set up in a way that gives privacy. Easy access to bathrooms and a shower. It was really fun and I’d recommend coming with friends!

I loved the site, the sculptures and the enchanted forest feel. The outdoor kitchens, ping pong table and showers were great and clean. We stayed at 3b which was quiet but difficult to access up a hill for people with limited mobility. If we return i would reserve a cabin. It really is a magical place.

Tons of space, close to bathrooms and kitchen, awesome amenities, and super close to tons of fun activities. Other campers were nice when we interacted in common areas, but we still felt like we had our own private space.

We were in site 1b, a lovely area situated a bit away from the main camp. We never used any of the facilities, we just enjoyed our private spot. The trail passed right by us, so we would wave to an occasional cyclist.

My second time staying here- and I look forward to coming back a third time someday! It’s got everything you need to glamp in comfort and you cannot beat the location and price! Plus all the carved wooden furniture and art pieces add so much to the enchanted ambiance.

Quite a magical place with gnomes and mushroom carvings all over the well spaced campsites. Well appointed kitchens and bathrooms are great surprise in the midst of the woods. Olympic Discovery Trail just adjacent to the campground, though the trail does not lead to Lake Crescent as indicated (i walked for more than 2 miles and the path kept going). Great for cyclists amd joggers. Entrance to main Sol Duc attraction just across the highway, though it is a good 12 miles in. Hiked Lover's Lane Trail in the evening towards the cascading waterfalls (not as wowed as others who reviewed this hike).

Beautiful area! The asthetic details made me feel like I was camped in a magical part of a forest. It was nice that all the amenities worked also! The only frustrating part was two children riding bikes and being roudy through our site while we were trying to enjoy time together. Ping pong is fun but also didn't enjoy hearing it and people being loud so late into the night (almost midnight).

This place is amazing! So cute and sweet, so many fun things to see! They are so accomodating as well.. We showed up with a tent way to large for the site and even though they were booked and couldn't switch our spots, they had an extra tent they lent us to get us through the weekend! We really appreciated this little get away and recommend to anyone looking for a sweet spot to enjoy! The kitchens and bathrooms/showers were a huge perk!!! 10/10 recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here at Logan‘s camp. Anytime I had a question he was able to get back with a quick response. His Camp is very unique and the details that he has put in to it make it extraordinary. The tents we stayed in were very quaint and comfortable. My son‘s hammock in the site next to us and they enjoyed their experience there as well. The kitchen had everything to offer plus more. It was great having a fridge to keep our few things cold that we had brought in a cooler. The kitchen was great where we cooked fries in the oven and made burgers in the propane grill that was provided. Others who are camping were making stews on the stove, which smell delicious. It was a great opportunity to discuss travels with others while in the kitchen together. The camp was very close to Crescent Lake and sold duck Falls as well as other high interest area in the Olympic national Park. It was definitely nice to have availability to a hot shower and flush toilets, which was a definitely plus in our books.I recommend Logan‘s camp to others and would definitely camp here again.

Dreamy Glamping Experience

Exceeded expectations! Such a cute place with fantastic amenities (and a WiFi hotspot!) right in the forest. The only downside was being able to occasionally hear cars on 101, but that was really not a big deal. Lovely tent, kitchen, bathroom, ping pong table… all the things! Hoping to be back.

It’s hard to find the right words to describe how much we loved the place.We had been traveling for a week from california to Washington and to have one of our last nights be at such an eclectic campsite.The bathrooms and showers were clean, the kitchen was stocked as described.The beds were comfortable the people we met great! If i I did not live across the country I would be back! All 8 of us loved it

A wonderful respite

I only stayed for a night, between overnight backpacking trips, but this couldn’t have been a better “pit stop.” I honestly wish I could have had more time to explore. It was such a cute retreat area, and there are so many sweet touches that made it feel like a real respite in a very strenuous week. I was happy to simply get a shower, but there was so much more to be grateful for than that. 10/10 recommend and will absolutely be back.

When I arrived the camp host confirmed that I was in Site 1B for that night. At 11 PM two angry people awoke me shining their lights in my eyes and repeatedly yelling, “What are you doing in our tent?” I asked them if they had checked in with the camp host and they said they didn’t need to because they had a HipCamp reservation. The host gave me another site so that I could get back to sleep by midnight.
