Nestled in the heart of Randle, Washington, Cowlitz Falls Lavender Co. offers a serene camping area on a farm surrounded by the stunning Cascade Mountain Range and is central to Mount St. Helens, Mount Rainier, and the Mount Adams wilderness. Our farm serves as a haven for nature lovers, providing convenient base camp access to an abundance of outdoor activities including exploring lakes, caves, waterfalls, trails, and the picturesque Cowlitz River. Established in 2014 with camping areas first introduced in late 2022, our farm has transformed neglected land into a thriving lavender paradise with more. Campers can choose from a site directly near the lavender field or several more private sites in the peaceful forested area which also have trail access to the fields. A property loop walking trail is accessible by all campers and is the perfect warm up walk or evening cool down. We now feature a wood-fired outdoor shower for the ultimate camping experience and are excited to offer increasing rustic homestead style amenities for off-season or colder climate campers while actively increasing the care and management our forested land. Immerse yourself in nature at Cowlitz Falls Lavender Co. and create unforgettable memories amidst the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Nestled at the back of a sprawling lavender field boasting over 6000 fragrant plants, your RV or tent will find its perfect getaway spot. Complete with your own fire pit and separate charcoal grill, this site offers a serene escape with a direct view of the picturesque lavender field. Please ensure you come prepared as this spot is for dry camping, but has a porta-potty, hand wash station and potable water refill nearby. For those cozy campfire nights, split firewood is available for purchase near the fire pit, subject to seasonal regulations. One of the most private sites we offer, this site can accommodate up to two vehicles, or one camper van and is mostly out of view when occupied. The opening of the site affords room for up to two larger tents, or three smaller ones. Providing shade in the hot months, and can be easily tarped in the off season with plenty of tree branch anchor options. In case of poor weather, a 5 foot trail leads to an area of limbed timber to the north side of the site that can accommodate one tent. Private fire pit with swivel over grill. Note that this site can be subject to tighter burn restrictions due to it's proximity to trees and the weather/fuel moisture conditions on your arrival. We will notify you on arrival or by request if burning is limited specifically for this site. In these cases gas camp grills are still allowed. Note: This site will accommodate one Camper Van/Short Off-Road type trailer and a few tents, or multiple tents. If you are returning to this site, check out a few great off season upgrades! This site now has a gravel RV pull in parking from the main road, in addition you still have optional grass road access from gravel road to the meadow in our forested area of the property. With space for a single RV, multiple tents, or additional camper vans it also has it's own central fire pit with pit grill. Most stock height cars or light camper vans can travel on the grassy road/field and the gravel RV loop is accessible to RV's in the 30 foot range. Very large area for your large group to spread out, room for yard games. If you need even more room also book the Kiona View site with this one and camp about 2 acres of combined area. Enjoy a lovely campsite designed for your convenience and comfort! Nestled in a semi-remote location on our farm, this site offers easy pull-in RV access with ample space for extra tents and awnings or as a tent base camp using the RV spot to park multiple vehicles with ease. Directly accessible from the site is our Big Bottom Trail, perfect for leisurely walks or to access a beautiful lavender field nearby. The D shape of the RV pull-off ensures convenient camp-side door exposure without the hassle of backing up, and the large cul-de-sac at the end of the road allows for a smooth turnaround when you're ready to depart. Smaller RV's or camper vans are welcome to position closer in the site as needed. This site can accommodate a single RV up to pusher diesel size. All of our sites are dry camping but we do have water refill access up front and an RV dump site within 2 miles. You'll find a central portable toilet and hand wash station within a short walk, along with a personal at site stocked wood storage box for your campfires. Don't forget to enjoy the fire ring and picnic table provided for your outdoor dining. Relax the whole time or make this your base camp for your exploration in the valley! I loved camping on Justin’s land! It was so beautiful, easy to navigate, and the campsites are quite private. Beautiful property with a cool outdoor shower, porta potty was extremely clean and the fire pit was amazing. Swimming holes nearby and the trail on the property is such a nice way to see the wildflowers and foxgloves! Would love to stay again and recommend to everyone :)

Absolutely fantastic! My friend and I stayed at Wooded Glade and had the perfect amount of privacy as well as access to wood, the outhouse, and could walk up to get the potable water. The lavender farm is beautiful in July, and my friend and I both went home with bunches of lavender from the U-Pick. The space is well-maintained, there’s obvious care put into the farm and the campground. Thank you so much for having us, we’d definitely come again!

We had a great time during our stay! Driving through the lavender field was a nice treat, and the site itself was well situated with one semi-shaded area perfect for tents and another area for the fire and picnic set-up. Everything was well maintained and would book again!

Really lovely farm and property. So glad I visited in July with the lavender in full bloom. The site felt secluded even with it being close to other campsites. The trees made it very private and also provided a lot of shade for hot days. I also enjoyed visiting their store and picking up a some goodies.

We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return! This is such a charming, peaceful, and beautifully maintained campsite. We were camping with another family and several kids under 8, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of tables, chairs, and gathering spaces, and the fire pit was wonderful. The lavender fields were absolutely stunning to walk through, one of our friends enjoyed hiking the trail with their dog, and the kids had a blast simply running around in the wide open space. The farm store was another highlight—the entire shop smelled amazing, and the lavender honey was delicious with lovely floral notes. The hosts were incredibly kind as well. When our car battery unexpectedly died, they came over promptly to give us a jump-start, which we really appreciated. Firewood was also conveniently available for purchase on site. The only minor things to note are that campfires may occasionally be restricted due to wind for safety reasons. Overall, this is a truly special place with gorgeous scenery, thoughtful amenities, and wonderful hosts. We highly recommend it!

Wooded glade was a beautiful, private tent site. We had an amazing time cooking over the fire! We brought a pup and 2 tents and it was the perfect size. Justin is a wonderful host! He helped me pick the best site for us before booking. There are clear signs on the property and directions from him beforehand. The site was incredibly clean and had a great fire pit. Overall we are impressed with our first Hipcamp experience. We also really enjoyed the Covel Creek trail nearby and saw two waterfalls :)

My other half and I stayed here as our first stop on our road trip! It was so beautiful and clean. I absolutely recommend tent sight number 5 for a secluded romantic get away. The smell of lavender as you drive up to the property is amazing! 10/10 🫶 very clear direction to the sights. They also have wood available for purchase.

We loved our time at Lone Cherry Grove. This campsite was perfect for us - spacious for three adults, a pre-teen, and 4 dogs, beautifully scenic, and it felt very private. Justin is a responsive and gracious host. We loved the on-site campfire wood available for purchase before use, and well maintained portable toilets. The view from the lavender field and hiking trail were stunning. Must stop by Cowlitz Falls Day Use Park while you're there. Highly recommend this Hipcamp!

This was a blast! Super clear instructions getting to the campsite. Really appreciated the layout of the space. The fire pit and picnic table were great additions and personally loved the gentle humming of the wind chimes near the pergola. Would love to stay again!

Beautiful campsite. The campsites are huge and very private. Well shaded while still you get sunlight and a clear view of night sky. The owners have organized everything really well. The toilets are honey buckets but very clean .

Our stay here was lovely- really appreciated that it also included a bathroom (Porto potty which was very clean) and shower amenities just a walk from where we stayed. The biggest plus would be the view of the stars due to less light pollution- wow! And when we were driving up to get more water the smell of the lavender field was heavenly. Absolutely will be back.

This was such an amazing place. I dont think I have ever been to such a picture perfect camp site ever. Its gorgeous and there is an amazing trail that goes around the property that was perfect for a morning walk with the dogs. Thank you so much for making these sites on your property. Its was such a pleasure to camp there. I will for sure be back. I think we might make your site a once or twice a year spot. Its right in the middle of everything to go see and do too. I miss it already.

First hipcamp was a success, stayed at the Wooded Glade site. Very private and big enough for a few tents. Solid picnic table, bucket filled with water and shovel were ready when we arrived. Great fire pit as well. Rained on us a little bit, but plenty of trees to stay dry under at this site. Would book again and recommend to others, was the perfect basecamp for checking out St. Helens.

Phenomenal. Everything about it. We had space to spread out and have privacy. The camp was easy to find. And well stocked with fire pit , gas fire area, charcoal grill, and picnic tables. Even had chairs around the fire. We didn’t use the shower, but it was close by. And they had firewood for purchase on site. Short drive to some good swimming/fishing spots. We can’t wait to return in June and see the lavender bloom.
