Star Host
Hipcamper since July 2021
Intro: We moved to Sitka, Alaska in 1998. In 2000, we moved to Homer where we still live today. We are both educators and work at our local school a mile down the road where Pete is an administrator and Lenore teaches music, PE, and second grade. We love the outdoors in all seasons. You can find us on skis, snow machines, bicycles, canoes, paddleboardâs, or on our own legs enjoying Alaska. We hope you enjoy your trip to Homer.

The RV Pad overlooks the Kachamak Bay and Kenai mountains. There are several different glaciers within the view. The Pad is situated on an alpine meadow with various spring wildflowers. (Please be kind to the wildflower meadows). Eveline State park is across the road and is a beautiful trail for hiking, skiing, and snow shoeing. Homer is 12 miles down the hill and has quaint shops and eateries in town and on the Homer Spit. There are boat taxis available in town for hiking across the bay. In addition, Homer is the "Halibut Capital of the World" and several different kinds of charters are available (Including spearfish diving).
