Our Trapper Arts Retreat - Bob Lake property includes 3 waterfront sites and 1 wooded site. The land is on both sides of a 1/4 mile long dead-end road (178th Street) back to the log house. We also have an additional listing that is called Bob Lake West which is located on 175th Street in this same area.
The Chippewa County Forest (16,000 acres) Hickory Ridge trail head is
located only 5 minutes away. You can enjoy miles of hiking, biking, ATV or
horseback riding trails. Trails wind past small lakes and beaver ponds, as well as spectacular vistas and abundant wild life.
#1 Waterfront Birch has a nice large level gravel pad with waterfront access via a long dock out to the water for fishing and boating.
#2 Wooded Lot is set back off the road on a hillside for a more rustic secluded campsite and is better for tents or smaller campers. We will be creating a lake access point for these sites so they can enjoy swimming, fishing and boating also.
#3 Eagle View is a favorite because it is surrounded by trees and is on a elevated waterfront lot with steps down to a dock, canoe and spectacular sunset views. The eagle's nest is in a tall pine tree above the steps!
#4 Waterfront Large Site is perfect for groups and multiple campers (no more than 3 please). This site is at lake level and has easy access. There is a dock and kayak available also.
This property was previously owned by Trapper Art who was well known in the area and started several businesses dating back to 1967 including Art's Snowmobile, Trapper Arts, and Art's Electric which was quite an accomplishment in the Wisconsin Northwoods!
