We had the best time! The views were amazing. We all LOVED having the sauna during this fall weather. Such a special touch to a campsite. We enjoyed a cold plunge in the river then warming up in the sauna. Highly recommend this unique site.

We had a great time camping at Jennifer’s land! Huge flat beautiful area for activities next to the water. There is a nice grill with countertop for cooking which made it easy to whip up a feast. Can’t wait to Go back with family. She was also very helpful and responsive too.

Had a wonderful weekend on Jennifer's property in spite of the rain. We came to the area to kayak the Hiwassee. (she's 25 min. from Webb Brothers) The property was very private and the only light you can see at night is their home way across the field. We loved jumping into the river behind our tent and tried fishing a time or two. They have a little prep table on site and a garbage can which was nice. The directions were a bit frustrating and we ended up at a completely different property she owns. She said she was thinking Hipcamp is confusing her two properties and giving people the wrong directions. Make sure you get the exact address from her before you head out. (the link Hipcamp sent us in our confirmation was wrong) The road that leads you to her campsite is a little tricky too...you turn at her mailbox and immediately find the "road" through the grass that goes around the field in front of her house. (go towards the river, not towards her house) Might be tricky at night! All in all, it was a great campsite for us river rats! We are already trying to figure out when we can come back!! Really did love our stay!!!

Absolutely gorgeous! Right on the river with amazing views of the mountains. Jennifer made sure our stay was everything we imagined and more. We arrived later than we hoped and to our surprise found that our host had already prepped our fire ring. We simply setup camp and we’re quickly able to enjoy our dinner next to a large fire. Kayaked in the river feet from our tent while the dogs swam. We will absolutely be back to visit. ❤️

This campsite was absolute perfection. My family and I spent the day swimming, sauna-ing and hiking. The scenery was gorgeous. Jennifer was a responsive and gracious host. Perfect place to unplug and absorb some nature.

Lower Ocoee Riverside Campsite
The campsite is absolutely beautiful with the river on one side of you and mountain views on the other. The campsite could accommodate almost any set up imaginable. There are plenty of shade trees to keep you out of the mid day sun. The river has an easy access ramp directly from the campsite to swim, fish, kayak, or anything else you would like to do and plenty of fish! There is a field trail that goes up a little ways from the campsite you could put in a kayak or floats and take a short trip back to the campsite. Jennifer is an exceptional host that is there if you were to need anything or have questions but leaves you completely to your privacy. We will definitely be back to enjoy the spot again! I would recommend to anyone wanting a multi day trip or an overnight get away.

Absolutely wonderful and so beautiful. I loved that it felt we were far from civilization even though it was around the corner. There is a small grocery store 5 minutes down the road to pick up any cold items or items you may have forgotten. Also a dollar general nearby. The site itself was wonderful, one has an open field RIGHT on the water and a sauna, big firepit and logs around it for sitting. A grill and a granite table for preparing food. The fish in the river were huge and jumping out of the water every few minutes. The other site is in a gorgeous wood with bright green ground cover, another large fire pit and right by the water. We will definitely be back.

The lower Ocoee campsite was awesome. It is right on the river in an incredibly beautiful setting. You really have to see it to appreciate the beauty. We kayaked the river and hiked along the bank. The campsite itself was convenient, well kept, and has a very nice fire pit. Jennifer was a absolutely wonderful host, and very easy to reach. We had a marvelous time and will definitely be back there soon.

What an experience! The property is more beautiful than the pictures and the VIP treatment from the hosts was world-class. It’s clear that this is a family that is enthusiastic about sharing their special slice of the Earth. We camped at the spot closer to the property entrance. It is right on the river, with a fire pit (graciously stocked with dried split cedar logs and surrounded by log seats, and outdoor kitchen (with a large table and grill) with a view of the green open land and mountains in the background. You can see their home across the field, but it blends in with the surroundings and the hosts were extremely respectful of our privacy—if there weren’t cars park there we would not have know they were home. Down the car trail about 300 yards, the river serving as the property line bends around a wooded area with easy access to the water and a view of some really neat rock formations. There is a second site here with another fire pit which I would recommend if you want to camp in total privacy and to be in the woods instead of the more open land. Our kids really enjoyed exploring this area, swinging on vines, and our 7 and 9 year old were safe in our inflatable kayak floating from the bend back to the main site. The hosts were extremely polite, responsive over text, and helpful without being intrusive. Quick story...It was getting dark just as we had arrived and was lightly raining. I had planned on gathering my own firewood, but with night falling and three kids getting cold hungry for campfire hotdogs, I needed to quickly get our tent and a rain fly up as well as make a fire, and didn’t know how I was going to do it all fast enough. I then noticed the hosts had set up a large “ready to light” fire complete with kindling and large stack of cedar next to it. It was the absolute best unexpected surprise and took 30 seconds to light and get the kids warm and occupied. I’ll be a forever grateful dad! It set the tone for a wonderful weekend we will never forget—we’ll be back!!
