In the 1900's this area was known to be the "Buffalo Creek" wide open grazing area for the roaming bison.
With the mature Willows and Rocky vegetation is all left for us to enjoy You could see roaming moose hanging around! and plenty of deer.

My location is perfect for your stay, because, we are four blocks from Downtown Driggs and 8 miles from Victor.
We have three individual electric hook ups including on each a 50 Amp, 30 Amp and 20 Amp and one water bib, at this time we do not have any dump station.
We are secluded and surrounded with mature willows trees and we expect the yearly spring water run off from Teton reek
You are five blocks from 5th street bus stop for transportation to Grand Targhee Ski Resort the famous snow pack 500 inches of powder! this property is off 1st street from Ski Hill road and the most unique quiet location for being so close to the center of Driggs.
We are walking distance to grocery store, post office, City building information and many restaurants to choose from. 90 miles to Yellowstone NP, and one hour from Jackson WY.
You can call this your base camp for many adventures, hiking, fishing, down hill skiing and much more seasonal activities at a year around location.
This is your endless experience and everlasting memories.
Please Clean up after your pets and there are strict rules regarding pets on leash ordinance in City of Driggs.

Outside is a fire pit and picnic table to enjoy meals outdoors. A hammock is in the trees nearby to lay back and relax. Private porta potty located near the tent.
You may enjoy the tent and the area around it, please do not cross any fences as that is beyond the property line. Please stay within a 30ft raidius of the tent, excluding the side you park on and the walking distance to your vehicle and the bathroom. The Shoshone and Nez Perce Native American tribes spent their summers in this area hunting and fishing the many streams in this valley. Trapper's used the area until the U.S. market collapse of the beaver skin top-hat in the late 1830's. Mormon pioneers began settling here in the 1890's. My great-grandparents settled in Teton Valley after moving from Nebraska in 1917. They farmed this land; growing potatoes, barley and hay. Today we raise alfalfa/grass hay that we feed to our horses. In the bottom of our field south of the campsite is Trail Creek, which is the headwaters of the Teton River. It flows out of the southern Teton mountain range in Wyoming and into Idaho. This water eventually joins the mighty Snake River near Rexburg, Idaho as it continues it's journey to the pacific ocean. Summer's here are usually warm sunny days with cool, chilly nights. What an awesome spot! Joy is a phenomenal host—communicative, welcoming, and has great energy. A little rain and cloud did little to dampen the experience, which was highlighted by a nice long sweat in the sauna (a MUST) and a brief but invigorating dip in the cold plunge. Shoutout to a couple of friendly four legged friends, who I also had the great fortune to meet. While I didn’t get to experience the epic sunrise over the Tetons due to an early departure, this was easily remedied by a quick journey back over the pass to the national park (another must!). This was my first, but certainly not my last stay!!

Alicia’s spot was perfect. We arrived pretty late as we were driving from across the state, and left in the middle of the night as well one night for some photo stuff. She didn’t mind either time, and the entire spot was so quiet and peaceful. It was close to their house, but the trees and how it was setup still gave us plenty of privacy through the duration of our stay and it was exactly as advertised

Karen gave me a heads up regarding the trip over the pass to Jackson Hole- put your vehicle in low gear on the downward side.

The Longhorn is a lovely and very well-equipped RV park. The sites are not all lined up in a row and crammed in. Each one has its own breathing room. We are not normally RV Park guests, but we needed to take care of some business and this was the perfect place. The river that runs through it is a lovely river. We highly recommend this resort.

Great site for exploring Teton National Park! The site was well-leveled with gravel. We loved having a picnic bench—not just for meals, but also for tying up the dogs. We enjoyed being the only camper, and of course, nothing beats having water and electricity onsite. :) K’Lea was super communicative and checked in a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. Victor is a cute town with everything you need to stick around for a few days. Highly recommended!

We stayed for six nights at the Wolf Creek Campground near Alpine, WY. We liked our site (#1), the campground and the camp host so well that we signed up for six more nights. The pit toilets were especially clean and well maintained. During our stay, we saw a mule deer feeding in the sage brush in the campground. This location is about 30 minutes from Jackson which make it convenient to visit the Grand Teton NP and the south entrance to Yellowstone NP. I would definitely stay here again when visiting this area.
We stayed here during the last two weeks of May 2022 in a 38’ fifth wheel.

This place is amazing! While it takes some work to get there (8 mile "dirt" rode) it is well worth the effort. Be sure to drive slow so you don't get a flat (no cell service). You will be rewarded with the most georegous campground I have ever been. Hosts were great and knowledgeable. The views of A mountain were breathtaking and the scenery around granite creek was serene.

Worst hosts I’ve ever encountered! And I’ve been van lifing for years and have camped at MANY campgrounds!
The lady hostess took a ticket from a site that was paid for by someone else. I took the spot since it appeared open. Instead of talking to me about it respectfully, they came at me super aggressively after I’d been driving 8+ hours and was having my first meal of the day, telling me I stole the ticket for previous campers and I need to leave.The man host got up in my face and saw my CA license plates and yelled at me “you’re from California?!?? Get outta here!”.
Super weird and the level of aggressiveness triggered my PTSD hardcore and I had a panic attack which they didn’t care about. Never ever coming back here with those hosts

The photo at the top of this article is inaccurate.
The hot water was not working when we were there and there was a note that the water had not been tested for drinkability.
There is no cleaning service. You have to depend on the people before you to clean up after themselves.
The bunk beds do not have railings on the top so we did not put the kids up there.
Overall our visit was fine. Nothing spectacular. Disappointed about the lack of hot water and unknown conditions of the water.
For the price 3/5 stars.

There isn't a bad spot in the Tetons. I actually hiked up to Paintbrush Canyon and camped there. Totally worth the hike. The park has bear canisters you can borrow.

We visited the Tetons during 4th of July weekend and ended up at Turpin Meadows for one night. The campground was full but you can camp at the trailhead in either a meadow in front of the campground or in an upper, gravel lot near the trail. The campground hosts were helpful and the area is beautiful. If you cannot find other camping in the park, I would recommend this site.

This was my favourite campground on a three month camping and road trip around the west. Just outside Grand Teton national park it is so much friendlier and cheaper than other sites like Gros Ventre in the park a few kms away. The sites is small and right on the lake with lots of privacy at individual sites. There is a NF park host in the summer who keeps the facilities very clean , the drive in and out along the entrance road is worth the trip alone especially in the fall and there are great supplies, pizza and beer a few miles away at Moose. What more could you want for a chill time in the Tetons, cant recommend this little gem highly enough.

This campground feels worlds away, but still easily accessible from Jackson. Also provides great access to day-hike peak ascents like Jackson Peak (well worth the leg work) and an incredible view of the Tetons.

We camped at a site in the Bridger-Teton National Forest on Shadow Mountain. National forest camping calls for "dispersed camping" and I know locals go there too. It is first come first serve, but most sites had fire rings and a great view of the Tetons. Free! Carry out all your trash, but you can't do better if other plans fall through. The roads are rough but if you take it slowly, you should be fine (assuming it doesn't rain). Take 191 to Antelope Flats Road, then left onto Shadow Mountain Road and you'll see a small parking lot, but start driving up the hill and you'll start seeing sites.
