Granite Creek Ranch is a 4th generation working cattle and horse ranch established in 1921 operated by the same family for over a century. Meadows, crop fields and forested mountains cover the ranch. 230 pairs of cows and two dozen horses call it home along with herds of Elk, Mule and Whitetail Deer, Moose, Coyotes, Redtail Hawks, Bald Eagles, Cranes and many other bird species. Ranch covers over 4,000 acres and the campsites have a couple hundred acres of hiking to enjoy. My family really enjoys the ranching and country life and want to be able to share it with others!

We stayed for six nights at the Wolf Creek Campground near Alpine, WY. We liked our site (#1), the campground and the camp host so well that we signed up for six more nights. The pit toilets were especially clean and well maintained. During our stay, we saw a mule deer feeding in the sage brush in the campground. This location is about 30 minutes from Jackson which make it convenient to visit the Grand Teton NP and the south entrance to Yellowstone NP. I would definitely stay here again when visiting this area. We stayed here during the last two weeks of May 2022 in a 38’ fifth wheel.
