Always working on improvements! My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

It is comprised of several parcels totaling 100's of acres that were purchased over the past 35 years. The River's Edge

Pocono Woodland Lakes, PA · 9 sites · Tents, RVs, Lodging
All lodging sites have heating for your comfort and are available year round! The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October. In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. Contact us to coordinate for larger group bookings. Please note that a significant portion of county tax/fees and cancellation or change fees may be avoided by booking the base amount of people (4) and at a much later date adding extra guests. Guests NOT occupying canvas tent (lodging) and bringing their own tents should not be paying an occupancy tax but there is no provision for this in the app. We do not want our guests paying taxes -- that benefit no one but useless bureaucracy! Extra guests may be added the week before booking. Just let us know your plans through the app!

Ugly Apple Farms was started by my Wife and to try to bring fresh organic/permaculture food to our community. We love to play music and get together with our friends and have been hosting people for some time. We thought that hipcamp could introduce people to our mission and make some extra money to get the farm off the ground. Ugly Apple Farms is a diverse place. We have opportunities for farm classes, pick your own veggies and more. We also have 1800 feet of access to the Neversink River. We recommend four wheel drive for some of our sites so please ask about them. We are an off grid farm with access to some solar for charging. We have tent sites and room for campers. Our camping is primitive but there is access to potable water and sanitation if needed. All extras are first come first serve if not reserved in advance. We love and welcome any questions! This campsite is nestled in the deep woods of a 120 acre farm that offers beautiful views coming and going. After being allowed to use the restroom at the stone farmhouse, you will then go rustic and start your 3/4 - 1 mile hike in (approximately 20 minutes to the campsite) past the fields and pond down the path into the woods. The trail is remote and you will instantly be able to leave the sights and sounds of civilization behind you and breath the clean forest air. Wear good hiking shoes because portions of the hike are uneven and rocky. This site is best for experienced campers who know how to pack light with just the essentials as there is no tractor service to this campsite. When you arrive at the campsite, you will be within 20 feet of a year round stream with brook trout and in a hundred foot tall hemlock canopy nestled between two brook meadows. A 9,000 acre forested preserve abuts our property so you will be able to completely relax, bird watch, enjoy the wildlife, or fish for a brook trout breakfast without hearing the sounds of anyone but yourselves. The campsite has a stone fire pit, split log benches for seating, a canvas privacy blind around a stand of trees where the composting toilet resides, and a food bag lift to attach your food and trash bags to about 100 yards from the campsite. Unlimited Split firewood is free next to where you will park that you can take down to the site. All trash needs to be carted out with you. We can't accept mixed trash as it will attract animals that will knock over the trashcans and make a mess. No food goes in our personal trashcans as we have learned this the hard way. Thanks! *For those that are looking for a closer walk-in site, look up our Little Birds Farm - Rolling Forest campsite also listed on Hipcamper!

The Beaver Lodge is a single-site glamping retreat tucked in the woods just outside Honesdale, PA. The site features two ponds and roughly five acres of quiet forest to yourself. Our site sits beside Spinner Pond. You'll arrive by a short wooded walk (about 3 minutes), or catch a ride in on the UTV — we're happy to shuttle guests and gear. At the waterfront, there's a fire circle, two Adirondack chairs, and a canoe with paddles. Fishing and wildlife watching from the pond edge are genuinely excellent: bald eagles, beavers, deer, ducks, and the occasional black bear on the far end of the property are regular visitors. Inside the canvas bell tent you'll find a real queen-size bed made up with sheets and pillows, LED camp lighting, and a footlocker stocked with cooking essentials — cast iron skillet, pot, utensils, and dinnerware. The site includes a two-burner propane stove with fuel, picnic table, and a second waterside fire pit. Potable water, a composting toilet, and a gravity-fed outdoor shower are all on-site. Optional extras include a propane Buddy Heater, two additional cots, and firewood bundles. The camp is tucked behind our home, so you'll feel completely private — no other structures in view. We're nearby if you need anything, and we mean that. Dogs welcome off-leash on the property. Feel free to message us with any questions — we look forward to hosting you.

The Record Room

There have been some big changes at The Record Room! We have recently added a brand-new shower system and a new method for delivering water directly from the stream, so you'll never run out! We have also added two new speakers in the upstairs loft, improved the Hickory Ridge Suana, and many more improvements that you'll just have to see! This is the one. This is the experience that you'll remember for years to come. Welcome to The Record Room - Built directly from our hands and our hearts, The Record Room borders the fine line of camping and glamping, with a wood-fired cedar hot tub and outdoor shower that feeds off a small artesian creek, a sauna tucked within the trees, overlooking scenic ridge, and solar-powered vinyl that plays inside and out across a vast selection of vintage, classic, and current albums. Back to our small creek, there are plenty of quaint spots to dip your toes. The Monguap River is close enough to see and hear, and the Delaware River is just 2 miles up the road, with rafting, kayaking, and canoeing companies all along it. A queen Tempur-Pedic bed, as well as an overstuffed futon, will take care of you come nightfall. The outdoor kitchen is built for cooking some real food - a flat-top grill, a single burner, a stainless steel grate grill, cast-iron pans, and all utensils, all powered by propane. A wood stove inside will handle the chilly mornings and brisk nights. We have a pool table under a custom-built pavilion just for your enjoyment. And last but certainly not least, our outhouse, which is maintained by the women of our family. We also have a nearby waterfall, which is as close as a three-minute drive down the road. The Hawks Nest lookout is under 10 minutes away. We recommend downloading a trail finder app, as once you arrive here, there will be zero service or wifi. Since we only have one bed and one futon, only four individuals can sleep comfortably, but we also have a couple of spots for your friend circle to set up some tents. Our mission is to get people back into the life we feel so disconnected from nowadays, and we provide the space to be able to do so. We highly recommend the firewood package, as it makes life much easier, unless you plan on picking through the woods on your property (which we totally support!)
