Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited. Any use or possession of illegal substances will result in immediate removal from the property and may be reported to law enforcement.
Fires are allowed only when permitted by local guidelines and must remain in designated fire rings or pits. Never leave a fire unattended, and fully extinguish it before leaving or going to sleep.
Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, and please clean up after them. Some areas may be off-limits to animals for safety or environmental reasons.
Pack out what you pack in. Leave no trace—take all trash, food scraps, and gear with you when you leave.
Stay within the designated camping areas. Do not enter marked private zones, animal pens, or restricted areas.

Base Camp was my first experience with my new-to-me camper and Hipcampers and it was a great experience!
Base Camp is set up very well...easy to get in and out of - especially for anyone with little experience. The pull through spots are very wide. Although I didn't get to use the free to use bicycles or canoes on this trip I did check them out and they are very well taken care of.
The Camp was peaceful and although it's just off the roadway it was very quiet with very little road noise.
I will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay! The campsites were nice and level, making setup easy. Campers have access to a beautiful pond surrounded by trees — perfect for relaxing. The paddle boats and provided life jackets were a fun bonus, and we loved having bikes available and easy access to the nearby bike trail.
A couple of things could be improved: the grounds could use more frequent mowing, and a larger trash receptacle for campers would be helpful. Overall, it’s a peaceful and enjoyable spot, and we’d definitely come back!

My wife and I loved it.
We were passing through and needed a spot for the night . Found Base Camp on HipCamp and loved it.
We had the property to ourselves, after dinner took a walk around the very well kept grounds. There are bikes and canoes for use to people staying and about 8 little cabins for a glamping getaway.
Would definitely stay again only next time longer.

Weekend Trip to BaseCamp Humboldt
Base Camp was an amazing weekend getaway and we wished we had another day there! The bathrooms were amazing and bike repair building is a great amenity which also includes a room with pool table, couches, and kitchen. We met Jon and his wife during our stay and it was evident they love having this space for people to enjoy, great conversation and stories! The pond was a great place to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning & dinner in the evening. Our doggies also gave this two paws up for the open space to walk around and explore.

Rolling hills, expansive prairies, and tree-lined valleys beckon campers, picnickers, and water-lovers to Fall River Lake. This vast, man-made lake is a mile at it’s widest point, and stretches 15 miles up the beautiful Fall River. There’s plenty of room for exploring by boat, kayak, or canoe, and lots of trails for landlubbers too. Birders have counted more than 400 species in the area, making this a stellar location to add some names to your birding bucket list. Hiking and biking trails surround the shores, and there are a number of campgrounds for the luxurious or primitive camper. Time slows down at Fall River Lake. It’s a vacation destination to write home about.
