Welcome to MST Ranch! Enjoy a peaceful, no-frills primitive camping experience on our 9-acre property just outside El Dorado, Kansas. Whether you want to set up camp in a spacious open field with plenty of room to spread out or nestle into a secluded spot surrounded by cedar trees and limestone outcroppings, we've got you covered. Tent sites are already cleared, and if you have a camper, we can easily accommodate you as well! Spend your evenings relaxing under the open sky and wake up to beautiful Kansas sunrises. The MST Ranch Experience Looking to add a little action to your getaway? MST Ranch is home to our "almost world-famous" firearms range. As an exclusive add-on for our campers, you can book a session to practice your skills on-site with your host, a certified firearms instructor! Please note: The range operates strictly between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM to ensure peaceful mornings and quiet evenings around the campfire for all guests. What You Need to Know (The "Primitive" Details) This is a true primitive camping experience, perfect for self-sufficient campers looking to unplug. Facilities: There are no restrooms, showers, or running water on-site. Please bring plenty of your own water and plan to pack out all trash and waste. We encourage all guests to follow Leave No Trace principles. Access: Drive-in access is available for most campsites, making unloading a breeze. Campfires: Campfires are allowed in designated fire pits or rings unless a Butler County burn ban is in effect. Because this is the wide-open Kansas prairie, fire safety is critical—it can spread quickly. Fires must be attended at all times and fully extinguished before going to bed or leaving your campsite.
