Anglers will also appreciate the excellent fishing opportunities available at both lakes, but remember to bring a current Kansas State Fishing License if you plan to cast a line. Originally constructed for flood control, civic water supply, and recreational purposes, Sedan no longer utilizes either lake as a water source. Instead, these lakes have transformed into a haven for outdoor activities, ensuring that visitors can enjoy the tranquility and beauty of this remarkable region.
