We are also located near the Wolf Pen Gap ATV trails, and guests can ride directly to the trails from their RV site. Local rental companies are available for anyone not wanting to bring their own ATVs. There is plenty of overflow parking for trailers for those that do bring their own on the property as well.

Tipi rental is a camping experience only; it does not have electricity, a/c or heat. There are solar lights inside. We do have a Queen Sized outdoor bed and bedding available to add to rental for $10/night.
Bunkhouse is a camping experience - bring your own bedding. A/C, heat, electricity, TV & DVDs, Microwave, and Mini fridge are inside. Guests use campground restrooms
Campground restrooms and showers are a short walk from campgrounds.
We are pet-friendly. Dogs must be leashed at all times that they are not in a tent or camper and friendly with other dogs and people. There is a working dog on the property-he is friendly with all people and dogs.

Located in beautiful Montgomery County, Arkansas; Montgomery County was formed on December 9, 1842, and named for Gen. Richard Montgomery, a hero of the American Revolution. Sixty-three percent of the county is national forest land.
We are a short scenic 12 mile drive from Little Missouri Falls, Bard Springs, and Albert Pike with area hiking trails, cascading waterfalls, and beautiful backroads. We are within 10 miles of the Caddo River and local canoe rental. Glenwood is 20 minutes away with gas stations, restaurants, and flea markets. Wegner Crystal Mine is located in Mt Ida, approx 40 minutes from our park. We are within a hour drive of Hot Springs; Bathhouse Row, Garvin Woodland Gardens, Mountain Tower, Crystal Ridge Distillery, Magic Springs, various tourist activities, restaurants and shopping. Mena is located within an hour drive of our park; Blue Zipline, restaurants, shopping.
Once a guest's books any of our sites, our Guest Terms and Conditions Waiver will need to be signed/agreed to this can be found on our website and will be sent via guest FIRST welcome email after guest books their site.
Waiver must be signed before guest entry is given into our park, no exceptions, due to our insurance constraints! We must receive our signed waiver no less than 7 days prior to your stay with us, which we will not repeatedly ask for, your stay will just be cancelled!

IMPORTANT River Usage: Southfork of the Caddo River is an extraordinary body of water and considered non-navigable; guest's may FLOAT down the MIDDLE of the creek for fishing, swimming, kayaking but must enter on our property, guest may not step out of the floating device on another person's private creek property and must remain in the floating device; during your stay guest's must stay within our private property creek footage for swimming or wading in the creek, if guest's encounter anyone along the river that does not allow this recreational activity please refer them to us, so we can refer it to the local game and fish department for investigation. It is always useful to carry your video camera with you so there is no he said, she said. We encourage our guest's to use the local lakes (Fancy Hill Lake, Lake Ouachita and Lake Greeson) and USFS streams for fishing and wading including the beautiful Little Missouri Falls.

Absolutely Wonderful! This was our second "winter months" stay at Yearling Ridge, and it was amazing. We love the location, the privacy, the size of the property and the views and sounds of the river...beautiful even in winter. We did have some cold temperatures and some ice, but we never lost power, which was great!. Daniel is such a wonderful host! We spent 30 plus days here, and Daniel checked in on us every few days making sure we had wood for fires but also making sure we were doing okay and enjoying our stay. Our dog Deacon loved exploring the property freely, and loved seeing Daniel as well :) Daniel has added a shower house , and has also made WiFi available. These are thoughtful additions to enhance every kind of camper's stay! Thank you to Daniel and Laura for opening up this piece of paradise to these two Northwest Ohio folks, hoping to find our own mountain retreat.
Anyone choosing to stay here will not be disappointed

This is a great property! It is easy to find and the host was very responsive. My dogs and I had the property all to ourselves and enjoyed exploring the hiking trails and the river. I definitely will stay again next time Im passing through the area!

The park is super close to restaurants and the casino. We got site 45, which is a back-in site next to a trailer park. It might have been just a stroke of luck, but the first night, we could hear dogs barking all night from the trailer park, the second night was peaceful. I’d definitely recommend this RV park and will definitely stay again when I’m in the area. Plus, it was very well maintained and super clean!

Clean, quiet park close to Bathouse Row. Park is on the smaller side but pletty of room between sites. Camp hosts were friendly and communicative. Sewage connections were a little high off the ground but with hose supports and little RV Ingenuity we got things running down hill. Definitely plan stay here next time we're in Hot Springs

Great little spot that you won’t have to share with many or any others. You’re right on the Fourche La Fave river. You have a fire pit basically on the river with a nice gazebo adorned with warm string lights. 20/30/50 amp power worked flawlessly and you have water as well. Great spot. The hosts are super nice. 10/10 would camp here again!

Charles was such a good host. Checked in on us and made sure to have plenty of firewood for us. The campsite felt very secluded. It was a short walk to the lake and was the most perfect spot! Would definitely recommend! And can’t wait to pass through Arkansas again because we will definitely be coming back to stay!

Amazing spot. They really made sure there’s everything you could need at the site. The river is beyond beautiful. The pavilion had all the extras one could need and more. We had an amazing time and will be back as soon as possible in Spring. I even had a dead battery in my car as we were trying to leave and Daniel came to the rescue to give me a jump start. Best Hipcamp we’ve been to yet!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Our three dogs had the best time exploring and going on endless “snifaris” (aka sniffing safaris) — so many new smells, trails, and riverside adventures to enjoy.
The campsite itself is stunning — the flowing river is perfect for swimming or just relaxing beside, and we spent the evenings by the firepit grilling and listening to the water. The open-air pavilion with lights and power made cooking and hanging out super comfortable, and the hammocking area overlooking the river was an unexpected favorite.
Daniel, the host, was amazing — incredibly responsive and friendly. When we messaged about grabbing a little extra firewood (we’d packed light, knowing some would be available) and mentioned that one of the water faucets wasn’t shutting off fully, he replied right away and had it sorted quickly.
Between the peaceful scenery, the great amenities, and how close it is to both trails and a convenience store, this place truly has everything — adventure, comfort, and calm. We can’t recommend it enough. Whether you’re coming to unwind by the river or explore the surrounding trails, this is one Hipcamp you don’t want to miss!

We had an absolute blast camping out here this past weekend! Three of us came from St. Louis with two dogs, and met up here with our other two friends driving from Fort Worth. We had two cars, three tents, a ton of chairs and had MORE than enough space. The place was beautiful, primal, and Charles was a very helpful and responsive host. Our pups had the best time running around and rolling in the leaves, and us humans had a great time chilling by the fire and enjoying the view of the changing fall leaves and star-filled night sky! We didn’t have the chance to check out the lake, but we are going to try to make this meet-up a yearly thing at the amazing Fox Nook Campsite! If you are looking for a serene, primal camping experience, look no further than Charles’ place. 1 hour from Hot Springs NP, 10/10 experience, 100% FUN

Wonderful camping area for RV’s and tent campers alike. $16 seems a bit high to pitch a tent and rough it, but the facility has clean bathrooms, hot showers and is well maintained. There is a park ranger hut at the front entrance that helps discourage thief’s like we had at Bear Creek, but they didn’t bother campers that I could tell by making their presence too overbearing. The lake itself is super low right now due to an issue with a stuck overflow gate at the dam. It’s a very clear mountain lake so common in Arkansas and offers great fishing as well.

It’s a very underused campground mainly used by people to launch their boats. It has a bathroom with one of those vault toilets that’s so scary and no showers, but does have a water spigot at the back of the parking area. There are two separate camping areas and each has the same bathroom setup. The camp sites do not have electricity or water but do have a grill and fire ring for campers. You will likely have the entire place by yourself with only day visitors but I will warn you about one thing. Do not leave your camp site alone for too long as we had our tent and all belongings inside our tent stolen. We hike and frequently leave our campsite and are gone all day. All equipment stolen was very expensive ultralight hiking equipment along with personal belongings inside we didn’t want to get wet in case it rained. Lesson learned.
