The house fits 3 comfortably. Your welcome to visit with a larger group. It's $10 for additional head count per night. There is plenty of room to pitch multiple tents, or park an RV. Furry friends are welcome as well, we only ask that you pay $30 for the extra time it takes to clean. The open loft provides a falling hazard for young ones. Because of that, we do not allow children under the age of 10 to climb the ladder or sleep upstairs.
Cooking pots, pans, utensils are supplied, along with paper products and linens. There are two burners in the kitchen, a toaster oven, coffee maker, and a small smokey Joe charcoal grill.
The Yadkin River is near by, and so is Boone and Blowing Rock. If you like mountain biking, bring your bike to ride Kerr Scott, or Zacks Fork trails. Also, check out the workshops at Pattersonschoolfoundation.org They offer sustainable living classes such as cheese making, mushroom foraging, blacksmithing, soap making, kimchi making, etc... Also ask about our private Yoga sessions. Last but not least, there is a wood burning private sauna that your able to reserve.

Great place for kids
My kids and I stayed at the Tiny House in the spring and had such a great time we had to come back for longer! We love it there, and plan to be back again! The stream out front is perfect for them to play for hours, and we love having a fire at night. The location is convenient to Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain, and the house is clean and very comfortable (and cute)! We highly recommend the Tiny House!
This was my third stay at the tiny house and I will be back again! Angela and Jesse are so friendly and welcoming. I spent hours swimming at the lake and with my feet in the creek. One of my favorite spots in NC - idyllic, relaxing, and magical!!
Cute tiny home
Great lil place! Loved it and the area. Angela was available and accommodating. Great place to relax and explore some too. Hot water was a lil tricky but everything was still GREAT! Would recommend and will be back!
This was such a beautiful space, the cabin was clean and well stocked, the kitchen was super functional (which made my heart happy cuz I love cooking!) and we even had access to shower, toilet, and comfy beds. I loved the little reading nook and quickly found some books to dive into. It is not air conditioned but we had no issues on temperature control with the screened windows and fans. However, be weary of letting in bugs as they will fight for anything to enjoy the same comfy space 😆
My partner especially loved the fire pit and we both enjoyed some time on the hammock outside. Next time for sure we will HAVE to try out the sauna, it looked like a real treat.
The land around our cabin was equally wonderful. We had enough privacy to feel secluded and relax, a peaceful stream of water nearby, and the chance to walk about on a GORGEOUS farm with garden, chickens, and even a donkey and cow who were inseparable.
Angela was easy to communicate with and we took advantage of her little garden paradise by purchasing fresh veggies, honey, eggs, and bread. Yumm!
Enchanting magical ~moments 🧚🏾♀️

Driving through Angela’s property to the tiny house set the feeling for the stay. It is such a beautiful property and then as we came upon the tiny house, set in front of a babbling brook, it was like a fairytale. We enjoyed the seclusion and quiet and loved sitting on the front porch. Our dog loved laying on the porch as well and immediately acted like it was her home. Our 14 month old son also joined us and he loved roaming around outside, picking up rocks and watching butterflies. We all enjoyed walking to see the farm animals too. The firewood was dry and the fresh eggs left for us were delicious. The loft was very comfortable as was the queen bed. The fans provided were a nice addition on the first evening as it wasn’t as cool as the other nights. The fully equipped kitchen including the complementary coffee was a perk. This was our first week long trip with the 4 of us and we did forget beer—first time for everything lol- and once we discovered that, we also discovered that the county is a dry one- so don’t forget alcohol like us! We managed that evening (hah) and did find some yummy local craft beer at the market In blowing rock the next day.
We enjoyed hiking on the green knob trail in blowing rock and walking around the town. Also a highlight was the outside space and beer at the booneshine brewery in Boone and biking with the trailer on the Lenoir greenway and stumbling across a giant patch of wild black raspberries. Angela made sure we were comfortable during our stay via text, although we didn’t meet her in person, she had suggestions for things to do. Thanks for your hospitality and communication and making our first true family vacation very memorable!
Tiny house. great spot.
The Tiny House is an excellent camp. It felt more isolated than many tent campsites we’ve been out before. The house itself was clean and the beds were super comfortable. The extras we purchased from Angela were tasty, fresh and well worth the money.
Tiny house, big fun!
We haven’t stayed anywhere like this before so we didn’t know what to expect. Driving up to the tiny house, our first impression was great! The house is cute and the area was secluded just as we wanted it to be. The inside was like a doll house and we had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and we would definitely recommend this to everyone.
