The house fits 3 comfortably. Your welcome to visit with a larger group. It's $10 for additional head count per night. There is plenty of room to pitch multiple tents, or park an RV. Furry friends are welcome as well, we only ask that you pay $30 for the extra time it takes to clean. The open loft provides a falling hazard for young ones. Because of that, we do not allow children under the age of 10 to climb the ladder or sleep upstairs.
Cooking pots, pans, utensils are supplied, along with paper products and linens. There are two burners in the kitchen, a toaster oven, coffee maker, and a small smokey Joe charcoal grill.
The Yadkin River is near by, and so is Boone and Blowing Rock. If you like mountain biking, bring your bike to ride Kerr Scott, or Zacks Fork trails. Also, check out the workshops at Pattersonschoolfoundation.org They offer sustainable living classes such as cheese making, mushroom foraging, blacksmithing, soap making, kimchi making, etc... Also ask about our private Yoga sessions. Last but not least, there is a wood burning private sauna that your able to reserve.

Perfect glamping experience!
This was the coolest Hipcamp stay! The tiny cabin was perfect. Like home away from home, it was so cozy and stocked full of all the essentials, plus thoughtful touches like candles, board games and extra blankets! We loved exploring the property, hanging out in the hammock, and the sauna experience was incredible. So glad we also visited Happy Valley Filling Station up the road for some delicious pizza and brews! 100% recommend and would stay again. Don't hesitate to book this stay with your special someone!
Charming! We loved this little get-away place. It suited our needs; quiet, secluded, wooded, peaceful, etc. The surrounding mountain area is beautiful. The flowing stream next to the cabin was icing on the cake. The tiny house is loaded with amenities - so you don't really need to bring much! We highly recommend this HipCamp gem if you want to get away by yourself v/s camping with lots of strangers. Felt like we were far from everything, even though it's easy access from major highway. Definitely would choose it again.
I loved this cabin so much! It was not only adorable, but everything about it is so well thought out and well made. It's the perfect place to stay for a cozy weekend and I would absolutely stay here again!
Loved the stay at this Hipcamp! The tiny house is so darling, and the stream, trail to the waterfall, and surrounding farm with the friendly animals was such a relaxing fun way to spend my vacation. The beef and eggs were wonderful as well. Highly recommended!
This place is great! It has everything you need for a cozy cabin stay. We even preordered some meat and honey from Angela and it was amazing! A bonus is that it’s close to Blowing Rock and lots of hiking opportunities. We had the best time and would definitely stay again!
What a perfect camp spot. Angela was incredibly helpful from start to finish! They sent detailed directions for us to find the house and let us know all about the accommodations and recommendations around the area. The house itself is beautiful and cozy - the perfect quiet get away. We wish we didn’t have to leave! Highly recommend this stunning spot to relax, unwind, and reconnect !
Relaxing late summer getaway
We really enjoyed our end-of-summer vacation in Angela's tiny house! The house was comfy and inviting, and our kids said this was the best vacation we've ever taken. :)
Just one small suggestion for future campers - take some kindling with you to start a fire. It rained the first night we were there, and we weren't able to get a fire going on our last night because the wood stayed damp. Otherwise our stay was awesome!
Hi Staying in the tiny house was perfect for taking two grandchildren camping. They loved the creek and the fire at night for making smore’s.The house had everything we needed and the coffee was wonderful! We did order fresh eggs, bacon, honey, and hamburger. Could not have been any better! As an added treat we visited Happy Valley Filling Station and had the best pizza and fun. We definitely want to go back. Felt very safe and so peaceful.
Great location, cute tiny house
The house was very tiny and cute. And we loved having the amenities of a “house” Vs just camping. However, it was difficult to sleep since it was very warm in the loft upstairs, even though there was an AC unit (in the window downstairs). Recommend getting a bigger fan upstairs to cool it down a bit more. Also, the dampness in the bathroom caused an odor, so also recommend a fan in the bathroom and maybe not storing the towels in the bathroom. Other than that, the place was great and the hosts were very nice and responsive. Good location in relation to Blowing Rock. Would recommend more when it’s not so hot or if cooler air can be provided.
