Get out of the city and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature when you stay in this unique place. Local Deer and fox roaming the area if you are lucky to see them. Wake up to a gorgeous mountain/valley view , BBQ during the day and enjoy smore's with the firepit at night. Miles of hiking right off the property and in the surrounding areas. Lots of local dirt bike, side by side riders in the area as well, and horse back riding!
If your a plant enthusiast like me, you will have fun scoping out all the natural medicinal herbs naturally growing in the area, i.e. sage, mullein, brigham tea, and many more!
Enjoy the entire valley with the view and privacy up on the hillside. Some neighbors across the street in a container home and tent rentals about a half mile away.
This is an outdoor off grid Glamping experience! Bring items you would normally bring camping (DRY CAMPING), but you have the luxury of having shelter, bed, sofa bed, refrigerator/ freezer, propane grill, propane stove, well water provided, and ability to have camp fire as the dome is located on private land not Forest land. Wifi is provided complimentary and as a luxury. Wifi is supported by Starlink and works about 85% of the time due to its remote location and weather conditions.

Please only use instructions provided to you by the host so that you do not get lost. 4-wheel drive highly recommended as it is off-road/ off-grid driving... You will be required to drive a vehicle with at least a 5 inch clearance above the ground so that you may be able to drive over the rocks without damaging your vehicle. The off road portion (the last 4.5 miles) ride is very bumpy, off road- means no pavement/ no gravel. You are off-roading in the mountains friends! Please keep in mind that there is no refund or cancellation policy if you decide to opt out of using a 4WD or vehicle that does not have the 5inch clearance.

Welcome to your peaceful, desert getaway. This little Retro Camper is only about 35 minutes from the Strip. The property is home to Joshua trees, desert mountain views, beautiful sunsets, and some of the best star gazing around.
The camper comes with a full kitchen, a refrigerator, microwave, and gas stove. Dishes and utensils are provided as well as bedding and towels. The bed is about a full size bed, maybe a bit smaller, cozy for two people to sleep in. The camper comes with two space heaters and extra blankets for the winter, an overhead air conditioning unit for the summer. The shower has cold water only and is an outdoor shower.

Beautiful spot to watch sunrises and sunsets. Great for star gazing too. Bar is located in a small quiet town named Crystal, NV.
The closest town for gas and food is Pahrump which is about 20 minutes away. My place is perfect if you want to get away from the city for a little bit, or if you are traveling the country in your RV, trailer, or tent. My place is very unique if you are looking for a different place to stay other than an RV park. Good vibes only. :)

There is Wi-fi in the main ranch house which is open 24/7. It is the large red and white building to the right when you enter the ranch. There are additional showers and bathrooms there as well.
We do offer meals at the main ranch house but you must contact the kitchen manager to pre book your meals. That info is provided after a booking.
We do offer horse back rides, cattle penning, cattle drives and shooting at our shooting range. You have to call reservations to book any of these activities.

This retro RV was awesome! There is definitely a reason that this is the top hipcamp in Nevada. Heather measured the camper for us before we came to make sure our baby pack-n-play would fit. The view was awesome and the porch was a great place to spend the evening. The water in the outdoor shower was the perfect temp. Would come again.

I enjoyed the dome campsite and its secluded location very much. I'm a podcaster and I recorded my journey through Lovell Canyon and my experience at the dome for my show. I plan to use the dome again but on my next visit I will be bringing my fellow podcast hosts. I personally went for the views of the night sky, but found the views gorgeous 360° at all hours! Especially as the sun began to go down, the shadows gave a different perspective on the mountains. So each moment, I was in awe, at the beauty.
The town is quite lively, even though it's advertised as a quiet town.
I appreciate the experience and Heather's spot provided everything we needed to enjoy this experience!

What an incredible experience! My husband, fur baby, and I had such a fun time visiting all the animals on the property❤️ Elvis the donkey was definitely a highlight of the trip. Like a giant puppy!🥰 The random visits all through the day and night by the friendly farm dogs and a nice hot outdoor shower under the beautiful stars were the cherry on top. 10/10 experience

The Ac is perfect and hits as soon as you walk in, the bed area was warm during the day but with the fan on and the cooling down on the evening it was comfy at night as well. We were pleasantly surprised to see a toilet and a shower since we hadn't seen them in the pics.
It's a dreamy tiny home with everything you could need. Even some board games and checkers. Loved the cute little radio which I enjoyed while cleaning the pots and pans. We made breakfast in the firepit and smores at night. The night sky was clear that you could see the milky way! We fell in love with Sandy Valley Ranch a second time. So serene and beautiful. The dogs are so well behaved and we love all the animals. Glad to celebrate a birthday there and already looking into staying again.

This was such a gem! I wish we could have spent more time here; I definitely hope to be back the next time I am driving through the Las Vegas area. The outdoor area with deck, solar lights, hammock, lounge chairs, picnic table, and fire pit was perfect, and inside the camper it was cozy and clean. Heather and Colton have obviously put a lot of thought and care into curating this site. They were very communicative and we loved our stay.
