Went to this campsite with my partner and our 3 dogs. We had a great time enjoying a wide open field, a cool vintage land Rover, 3 beautiful and friendly border collies, and a warm fire that went all night. The borders hung out with us the whole time and were friendly and playful. We misses the border collies as soon as we left. We loved the space to roam and the star filled night sky. The sheep were on the other side of the fence but never came too close. The tent and our sleeping bags kept us warm on a cold night. There were outdoor chairs for us in the truck that we made great use of.

We had a great time and would love to come back. It was a perfect getaway.

Best. Night. Ever. We had the best experience ever with the Land Rover. My daughter and I loved every minute of our time on the farm. The dogs (Stieglitz, Tucker and Belle) were consummate hosts and provided lots of snuggles and love. The Land Rover is epic… clean and well appointed. My 6 year old loved exploring the farm and gazing at the alpacas, horses and sheep. She said it was the best night of her life and would like to come back for her birthday and for “16 days”. It was a little slice of heaven just 25 minutes outside of Baltimore. Edwin was so kind and has a great set up. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful area and great camping spot! As a Land Rover enthusiast, this was the perfect Hipcamp booking to celebrate my birthday. We enjoyed checking out the classic truck, climbing in the roof tent, playing with the farm dogs and socializing with the other campers. Very relaxing place! Highly recommended.

Edwin’s place is beautiful and the dogs are so great. As some other noted, there were surprisingly few mosquitoes even though I normally get tons of bites. There were many cicadas, but that’s what we were looking for. Thanks Edwin!

Great stay on the farm with the sheep, dogs, and cool Land Rover. Everything we expected. Quiet, peaceful, and we got our dog fix in. Edwin was a great host and had everything set up for our arrival.

I always forget how much work camping is for set up and take down and decided to treat myself for mother's day to a little glamping getaway (and brought along my teen and our 50lb lab puppy). It really was a treat to show up and have the tent ready, chairs out and a fire pit with wood all set for us. Getting our big a$% puppy up and on top of the land rover was definitely one of the funnier parts of our trip -- the ladder is definitely barely the width of a shoe but we managed to very carefully make it work. I was kicking myself for having forgotten our camp mat/pads but the tent actually had a decent cushion in the base -- probably better than my rei camp mat -- it was surprisingly comfy.

Edwin was also very kind and available, but also quickly gave us our space to hang on the farm. The resident dogs were sweet, but definitely more into the humans than our friendly dog (she was definitely disappointed). The sheep were hilarious and a couple of them came over and stayed right by our fence line for hours and were back when we woke up. Very excellent view of the sky - we were a little freaked when we saw what HAD TO BE an alien parade, but it turns out it was just the Starlink satellites which was also quite a treat! The portapotty was the cleanest one I've ever encountered in my life -- I didn't know they actually could be that clean.

Carrying a 50lb dog up a tiny ladder onto a Land Rover was 11/10 hilarious

Unique concept with sheep so tame they come to the fence to be pet and talk to you; border collies who make their rounds to each camp site and hang out for hugs and company; and the 1966 Landrover with top tent? Incredibly fun! Must be able to climb the vertical narrow stairs up the truck and tent absolutely only fits 2, not big/not taller than 5’9” adults. Cozy, in great shape tent with the advantage of not only the cool old Landrover, but no bugs though still tent camping! Only down sides were no access to shower, though porta potty very clean and fire ring was too tiny, literally a rim from a tire. Workable when the temp isn’t below 60 and no more than 2 around the fire, but bring your own portable grill or no-cool food beyond marshmallows on a stick ;). Definitely a return site for us!

The host, Edwin was really friendly. We had some nice talk during our stay.
Dogs were very friendly too. One ran with the car to guide us to the campsite. I was a little worried I might run over him but he knows what he's doing and did a great showing us the campsite. The other dog, Tucker, stayed by the Land Rover for the whole night and tried to play with us as much as he could. But he's almost 17 years old and could only run so much with me.
The weather was a bit chilly the night we went there but thanks to others that commented, we brought sleeping bags.
I booked this campsite because there was a forecast of a minor meteor shower. I caught one shooting star that night.

Great stay! Easy to get to and peaceful. Walgreens, winery, and tavern were up the road. There were a lot of other campers on the land. It gave off a Bonnaroovian vibe. Animals were great. The van was super cool and the mattress was nice. Recommend bringing your own sleeping bag and blankets for extra comfort. Awesome escape from the city!
