Great place. We loved John and his property. Greeted us upon arrival and the cabin is fabulous. Great views, and cozy place with heater. Mattress was provided and we took our own blankets and pillows. I will visit again soon.
We had an amazing weekend way at John and Pams tiny home. John was an excellent host and explained the property and history of the home when we arrived. The home is equipped wonderfully and plenty of heat from the gas fire place. We enjoyed a three mile snowshoe hike that was very peaceful. Definitely coming back!
Thank you!

We loved the cabin! The stove kept us plenty warm even with the sub-zero temps. The cabin had everything we needed, including full-sized cookware for the stove. We got a dumping of snow the night we arrived and spent the weekend sledding, snowshoeing, and xc skiing. Highly recommended!
We loved John's cabin for our annual winter getaway! The snow had just fallen, and we enjoyed skiing on the trails and looking out over the peninsula and Androscoggin River. John set us up with fresh water, ice in a cooler, card games, and plenty of LED lanterns for us to feel comfortable and right at home. We will definitely return for more exploring!!
Our stay at the tiny cabin was amazing! The cabin was warm, cozy and comfortable. The panoramic view is stunning. We were there on a rainy day, a sunny day and a snowy day and the view was consistently breathtaking, no matter the weather. We didn’t do as much exploring the property as we’d have liked but we hope to be back soon and make up for it next time!
John’s tiny cabin was totally amazing!! I would 100% recommend it to my friends. He was also super nice and welcoming. The property is pretty big with a lot of trails to walk through. I’ll go back in the future!
Amazing stay! The tiny home has everything you need for an idyllic weekend away. John and his family’s efforts for land preservation goes above and beyond - you’ll fall in love with this spot from the moment you arrive. From the beautiful lake views to the canoes available for fishing, this place leaves you with nothing wanting. Gas heater, pots & burner, utensils and even a 5 gallon jug of water included! Firewood available for sale was an excellent add-on. Thanks again for your hospitality!
Another wonderful stay! Thank you, John, Pat and Karin.
This Tiny Cabin is beautiful, and hiking around the incredible property is completely restorative. There are treasures around every corner.
We stayed at the Tiny Cabin for two nights and had a peaceful time. John's daughter Karen welcomed us along with a couple of wild turkeys roaming the grounds which was fun to see. She shared a lot of info about the cabin and the grounds. The inside of the cabin was very cozy especially because of the jotul fireplace included. Also included was water, a porta potty, cookware, plates/utensils, gas stove, and firewood. All we needed to do was buy a small amount of groceries from the local grocer not too far away from the cabin and our own blankets and pillows. We explored John's land one of the days using the trail map provided and ran into John on his large tractor and chatted for a bit. What a friendly family! His land is so peaceful and relaxing. We even were joined by a lovely blue heron while out exploring which was a really nice sight to see. This was our fist time "glamping" in Maine and we would definitely recommend everyone to go visit!
