Unique handbuilt teardrop camper under roof with a small porch and quiet mountain views. Camper has a one burner butane stove, butane supplied, an electric cooler, potable water, dishes and a few cooking utensils. There's a picnic table and benches with party lights, a firepit. Shared bathhouse has a flush toilet, outdoor hot shower, bearproof trashcan. Firewood and kindling available onsite for a small fee. Nearby Hiking, Biking, and Nature Opportunities: 4 miles from the Greenbrier River Trail at Renick, 7 miles from Droop Mountain Battlefield. 9 miles from Beartown State Park. 13 miles from Anthony Creek Trail. 15 miles from the Blue Bend Recreation Area, and 35 minutes from Watoga State Park. Pocahontas County is 6 miles away, and offers hundreds of miles of mountain biking trails from leisurely to rugged. Culture, Food, and Music: 20 miles away N or S find dozens of restaurants and music venues, historic sites, and museums, theater and live performances in Marlinton, or Lewisburg, WV.Teardrop camper plus! Nestled at the edge of mountain and meadow, our Alterra Mountain's Edge Camp 2 is a sheltered level area with a pavilion and room for several tents less than 1 mile off Seneca Trail. Cool shaded spot has visible stars at night. Quiet and restful. Native plant enthusiasts will spot everything from Appalachian mixed mesophytic forest trees and wildflowers, to medicinals. Wifi, electricity, exceptional spring water, a fire ring with grill, a few camp chairs, and firewood are available. Stay in your own tent, or sleep 2 in the teardrop camper on site. Guests share a communal comfort station with a flush toilet, outdoor hot shower and secure trash container. A second campsite is visible across the meadow.

Mountain's Edge Teardrop Camper
This whole set up was amazing! The Tear Drop camper was really cool and it was nice having the bathroom and shower nearby for the 3 nights I stayed with my dog. The view is spectacular and peaceful. At night, there's really nice lights set up outside. We checked out so many free State Parks nearby, definitely check them out, all great as well as the Greenbrier River Trail. I would love to stay here again in the future! Definitely recommend!

Mountain's Edge Teardrop Camper
Wow ! What a unique, beautiful place. We loved the freedom to explore the land, have our dog off leash, and the incredible quiet and dark skies. Our hosts went above and beyond to provide thoughtful amenities and troubleshoot any unforeseen issues that came up. We loved it.
