We really enjoyed Liz’s spot!
It was a little hard for us to locate originally with the entrance being very unsuspecting. We under and overshot it a couple times. But once we got in touch with Liz we were pointed in the right direction and made it! She even met us up there to give us some local recommendations for the following day which we appreciated.
The spot is gorgeous — so much quiet, open land. We got to have it all to ourselves which was an extra treat. A little buggy but we didn’t mind at all.
I would say that in the summer the road up has a lot of tall grass which for those with low clearing cars you might not like. I have a Prius and am always considering clearance but I didn’t find the tall grass to be too big of an issue.
Would stay there again!

Beautiful spot with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Would love to camp here again, and perfect for little ones as well. Plenty of space to run around.

This campsite was NOT as advertised and we were really disappointed. The view IS beautiful but the property was a mess. Down by the campsite, the grass was completely overgrown and up by the porter potties it was a complete disaster. We didn't feel safe -- it looked straight out of a horror film. I can't believe we paid for this.
Host was also not great at communicating with us prior to arrival; we did not receive directions to our specific campsite until we called her, confused.
We will not be back and I do not recommend this campsite.

We had a different experience that I hope..
I like the landscape but not:
The access it's not good for all the cars
Never see the restroom or something similar
No advert or something for understand where is the place
Buuut the neighbors are so kind and they bring us information for understand where is the camp

My friends and I had an amazing time at Elizabeth's land! She was really responsive and helpful before and during our. The view is amazing by day and by night with the stars. Would highly recommend!

Elizabeth was super kind and accessible! I had messed up the dates for the trip and the night before I had intended to go, she let us switch the dates which was very nice of her.
She gave us cold brew and coffee when we first got there, and recommended an Amish farm to get pastries from on the Saturday that they were open and it was delicious. The views were super nice and we just loved being there. :)

Last minute booking! AMAZING views. I enjoyed that we could be close to people or travel farther for quieter camping. Portapotty was one of the cleanest I have encountered. We were able to get up and down the first major hill with my FWD civic and camp comfortably but avoided going up the second. Great visit!

I loved camping at this site to view the eclipse the next day! It's a gorgeous open space with a nice view of the skyline. The lake is only a short drive away and the sky was so clear and perfect for stargazing while camping here. We will be back in other seasons for sure.

Elizabeth was extremely responsive to all my messages and questions and was a great hostess. She takes pride in her property and it shows. I had an incredible time tent camping in a primitive site (in three feet of snow) and can’t wait to go back and see this spot in the summer.

We had a great stay with Elizabeth for the 2024 eclipse. While other campsites had to cancel on us due to the 18in of snow that VT got before the eclipse, Elizabeth was prepared. Porta potties were already on site, they had a tractor to clear a path for cars/to set up tents, and on top of that Elizabeth passed out magnets and extra eclipse glasses. Our group had a wonderful time, and are very thankful for Elizabeth for making it possible!

Campsite exceeded expectations! Million dollar views! This was the best way to experience Vermont!
Host dropped off homemade cookies and eclipse glasses! She was friendly and generous!

Elizabeth is a wonderful host! She could not have been more welcoming or kind. And the land is stunningly beautiful, surrounded by mountains in all directions. We went for the eclipse, and are so impressed we plan to return for the Fall foliage sometime in the future. Thank you, Elizabeth!

The cabin had some amazing views and was easy to find. The kitchen was stocked everything you needed for cooking so no need to bring anything. There was also a fantastic tea selection if your a fellow tea drinker. Hosts were very responsive as well. The only thing I would change is that the bed was very old and uncomfortable for the price per night. The cabin was also very cluttered and some unnecessary things could be removed. Otherwise it was an amazing stay for the night.

The site at Glacier View is amazing! It felt like being on top of the world. Check-in was easy, the site was a short walk from our parking spot, and the location felt very private. It's an incredible feeling to have such an expansive view! Highly recommend.

The cabin and grounds are magnificent and superbly located for a relaxing weekend in nature. However, when we arrived late in the evening, the cabin wasn't ready because it was double-rented (Airbnb and Hipcamp). After a long journey of several hours and a dog, we couldn't find anything else to rent. Elizabeth offered to let us stay in another rental she has on a farm for the same price, but the cabin really wasn't as good as the first one we rented and not what we had in mind either. After several exchanges, arguments and trying to get our point across, she finally offered a half refund, then the next day a full refund.
The place is magnificent and I'd certainly like to go back there one day, but I think the management needs to work on improving customer service.

We loved the tent site on Liz's property. She was a gracious host and available for any questions. The vast open views were amazing to wake up to and the proximity to Lake Willoughby was perfect for our kayaking. We will be back (:
