Refreshing riverside retreat with tent sites and tiny house cabin on over 5 acres, featuring sunny meadows, veggie garden plot and 4-wheeler / snowmobile trails. The property is perfectly nestled near the Green Mountains and the White Mountains, with a swimming hole and river fishing available right in the backyard. Bike trails, walking trails and stunning motorcycle routes are all at your fingertips from the property. Village amenities, such as groceries, convenience stores, cafes, restaurants, and laundromat are all in walking distance (about 1 mile or less). Lake St. Catherine and Lake Bomoseen and others are close by for fair weather fun and park activities. Visit a local winery, see how maple syrup is made, shop the neighboring farm stands. Close regional access to hunting, skiing, snowboarding. It’s currently peepers season here at the retreat! As you settle in for the evening, enjoy a serenade of spring peepers (tiny frogs) calling out from our spring-fed pond, while the river babbles below. In the fall, feel free to collect crab apples from our 100+ year old former orchard. New additions: tiny house cabin now available with river and mountain views, porta potty on property, mini charcoal grills available for each site, new deck built for tiny house cabin, frisbee golf basket and green. Tent sites can accommodate multiple tents, for group camping. Multiple fields available for yard games. Lots of clustered trees for hanging hammocks. Can accommodate parties and celebrations. Excellent photo shoots, glamping, stargazing, sunbathing, leaf peeping. Want us to stock a cooler for you? Adorable tiny house cabin overlooking the Poultney River. Easy access to the Poultney River Loop and the Slate Valley Trail system for walking and cycling; over 50 miles of trails. Close to Lake Bomoseen, as well as Lake St. Catherine State Park. Cabin is equipped with a mini fridge, a gas fireplace with thermostat, as well as an incredible sound system (headphone jack, lightning cable compatible). Fan provided and screened windows for breezy open air enjoyment. Newly added screen and glass storm door. Loft sleeps 2, plus a large comfortable couch for a plus one. Can fit another, if family of 4 has a kiddo who doesn’t mind camping out on the floor. Sleeping bag available upon request. You can also pop up a couple tents in the private yard of the tiny cabin. Perfect for families with kids, or groups of friends. It’s a happy medium between camping and having access to all the amenities. Petite desk for enjoying snacks, working on crafts, or getting some writing done while looking out over the water. Folding desk chair, folding side table and stowaway coffee table offer more open space when desired. Property has a porta potty onsite with sanitizer. Water dispenser filled with 5 gallons of filtered water. Bring additional potable water supply, or purify from hose or river. Full set of dishes provided with kitchen basics. Indoor cooking on a gas camp stove, outdoor cooking on mini charcoal grill (bring your charcoal and lighting supplies). Double sink station with hose outside. Bring your swimsuit for a brisk river refresh, or rinsing off at the hose. Adirondack chairs (4) outside look out over the river. Newly added deck would be perfect for open air yoga, stretching, coffee and tea in the mornings. Catch a view of the mountains in the distance, while the river babbles below. Sweet Spot and Magical Memories

Riverside Tiny House Cabin

Absolutely stunning location & wonderful experience through & through! Very quiet area & the sound & view of the Poultney River from the cabin helped me get some of the best sleep in recent memory. The trip consisted of me, a middle-aged mom, my 16 year old daughter who wanted a city-sensory detox following exams, & two young, high energy dogs that had yet to travel together. I’m thrilled to say the cabin fit us all well & cozy, & Robbin’s hospitality was truly remarkable! You can tell when a host truly wants to welcome visitors & who understands the art of hospitality & not simply the aesthetics of what may look good from afar. She & anything & everything I could have thought of stocked & ready in a lovely rustic cabinet - from cookware to tea, spices, cloth napkins, extra towels (she told me to not worry about staining bc puppies and torrential rain = some mess lol) & even extra hotel sized toiletries if needed. Not only was the cabin cozy & well heated by the gas ‘wood’ stove when it got chilly, it had nice air circulation when the quality newer windows were opened . The sound system is GREAT - albeit a bit complicated for me to understand but the teenager understood it easily, go figure 🤣 From the fresh flowers waiting to the small selection of books, games, (and a puzzle cube we didn’t dare attempt lol,) it was a lovely getaway. I hope to return again with my water shoes, an inner tube, & a tether to keep me close to shore for another magical tiny house visit!

Riverside Meadow Campsite 1

The Riverside Meadow was a perfect picturesque campsite for us! Robbin was so accommodating offering us use of a grill, hose , electric, as well as multiple areas on her property to find a suitable camping options. There is a hill down to the river… but we had no problems with our AWD Toyota Sienna minivan. Delightful experience at her Riverside Meadow!!!

This place was absolutely beautiful ! Robbin was so communicate and friendly ! Also help me get out of a rut I had put myself in. I felt secure and safe , and enjoyed my time ! I will definitely be coming back !
