Beautiful 140 acre farm located on scenic dirt road. Comfy camper with a deck on a hill overlooking pastures and a spectacular wooded mountainside with trails on private property. Happy cows and sheep in the pastures. Beautiful swimming pond with a dock. Camper has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with bunk beds. All bedding and linens are provided. There is a shower and bathroom and a nice galley with a good assortment of cookware. Laundry facilities are available for no charge. We have excellent high speed internet throughout the property! Well behaved dogs are welcome! We are minutes from Wallingford Village by car. AT throughhikers take note, we are within easy 6 minute walking distance of the Little Rock Pond trailhead, making a this a great place to walk in for rest and re-provision. Rides to the grocery store and for other errands can be arranged with your host. Vermont summer festival goers, we are minutes from the HITS/Summer Festival Site. Available for an extra charge is an adjacent tent site for bigger groups who can use the camper and a tent together for extra sleeping space. Use your own tent for an additional $30/night, or use our big tent, already set up for you, for an extra $50/night.We are closed for winter, but we'll reopen on May 1st 2025. see you then! Settle into our comfy camper on a hill, overlooking pastures with happy sheep and cows. Hike into the property's wooded mountain side, hike to near by White Rocks or Little Rock Pond. Fish for trout in Otter Creek. Enjoy spectacular fall colors. Take a dip in the swimming pond. BBQ on the grill while enjoying the view up the mountain. One dog is fine as long as it's compatible with other dogs, chickens and other livestock.

Camper on a Hill

Sarah and Grey were excellent hosts and made sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable in the camper. It’s a beautiful farm and I’d recommend it to anyone…it was perfect for a few days of fly fishing on Otter Creek.

Camper on a Hill

We had one of our most enjoyable Hipcamp trips to date! Sarah and Grey were fantastic hosts, taking such great care of us throughout our stay. The camper was surprisingly spacious and incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect retreat. The location is a true gem – secluded, peaceful, and exactly what we needed to unwind. We would definitely return in the future! Thank you, Sarah and Grey, for a wonderful experience!

Charming RV Stay

Camper on a Hill

I had such a lovely stay at the RV! The space around the home is gorgeous, and the view is available the second you open the door in the morning. Hiking and trips to nearby Wallingford shops are easier managed with a car, but it is possible to do without and walk to hiking spots or take the bus into town (with proper planning). Sarah and Grey could not have been more welcoming or kind. I felt easy and at home immediately. I loved meeting their darling dogs and adorable pigs, and saying hello to the chickens as we crossed paths. The pond on their property was brisk and refreshing (I wish I had been a bit bolder and stayed in longer, but it was very brisk and the sun was fading). I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Camper on a Hill

It’s our first time staying at a RV, really a great experience! The RV is cozy and warm, great site for star gazing as well, the sheep and cows grazing outside are lovely. Grey and Sarah are great hosts, very responsive and friendly!
