Lone Mound Ranch is an idyllic, high plains, year round, working cattle ranch with a varied terrain that provides amazing 30+ mile views from atop the 1/4 mile long mesa to hiking the 3/4 mile long draw that cuts through the rolling hills. There are multiple RV sites available from groves of elm and evergreens to higher, dramatic elevations with inspiring, expansive views. Cabins and remote RV sites include campfire rings for grilling and outdoor pets are welcome. If traveling with your horses, pens are available along with miles of unpaved, remote, county roads to explore the varied landscapes. You can expect to encounter, both on the ranch and off, white tail, mule deer, turkey, hogs, coyotes, quail, dove, road runners and friendly locals always ready to stop and chat. We love meeting people and welcome new friends to join us doing all things ranch related, from feeding cattle and horses to improving infrastructure. For additional fees for extended stays we offer laundry service, crock-pot meals and an occasional Jeep excursion. Whether you're looking for souvenirs or wish to really experience the heart of Lone Mound Ranch we offer grass-fed beef by the lb, free range chicken eggs by the dozen, pastured goat milk, cheese, butter and ice cream & in season a varietyof organic veggies to smother in butter for the grill! All meals organic and non-gmo. We also have a local soap maker that uses our goat milk to produce artisan soaps available for sale. We invite you to come as a guest and return as a friends.

I absolutely loved the experience at lone ranch. It was one of my favorite moments on my cross country road trip. The ladies were wonderful and accommodating and the camp I stayed at was absolutely magical. I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone it was wonderful

I needed a place to sleep for the night and Lana’s land fulfilled that. The ground itself was great for my tent spikes. They went in easily and held strong. There wasn’t anyone else there so Lana let me pick whatever camp spot I wanted. Which was really cool of her. She was right in saying the gps doesn’t take u to the right spot. I typed in the address she gave me and it took me close, but not exact. I actually had to go north to the neighboring gate and that’s where it was. It had the lone mound ranch sign on it. Everytime I called her she answered within a couple of rings and was patient in helping me with any questions I had. Definitely give her a call or message here if questions come up. Overall this was a great site and I would recommend it.

Unobstructed horizon gives a big sky effect. Lana was really accommodating and responded quickly to messages, allowing us to upgrade to the bunkhouse with a/c when we realized the temps were gonna be super hot.

Great boon-docking stay!
Really awesome property, beautiful and secluded. Met Lana and her daughter and had great conversation at their country store. Bought some ground beef and sirloin and it was amazing! So are the farm fresh eggs and the goat milk caramel!! Yum! We had a great stay, really loved waking up in the morning surrounded by the valley.
